One UI is SO much better than stock android on Pixel. Once you try stackable widgets and they become 1 of the main ways you use your phone, you really won't be able to go back. I had my pixel 9PXL for 1 week and returned it and went back to my S23+ (which is the only Samsung phone I've ever had, & love!). My 9PXL also had a bug where when on a call, the speakerphone toggle didn't work. I work from home and use my speakerphone for all conference calls so that was unfortunately a huge inconvenience for me. Having had every XL/Pro Pixel since the original, software bugs and Pixel phones were all too familiar.
Pixel is the real true pure Android...just as iPhone is to Apple. Samsung is just secondary third party leasing Android. Pixel = Android. iPhone = Apple. Samsung= 🚮
I dont see the point of a ultra thin phone, I would rather they make they thicker so the cameras are flush with the back of the phone, this would also allow for a bigger battery which I'm sure most people would prefer!
I don't want my expensive phone to be slim, I want my phone to he thick, to feel solid, and to have a good grip to it. We should not allow a trend of thin phones to incept.
I used to be a Samsung user and have been an iPhone user for a year. The Samsung camera is absolutely inadequate. Also, the Samsung speakers are simply no good compared to the iPhone. iPhones have great bass and the sound quality is amazing. As long as Samsung doesn't use new lenses and keeps offering us the same thing over and over again, nothing will happen. The camera lenses are simply THE SAME from S22.
Androids better than ios more apps more free apps and the apps are updated faster and more frequently with android. Android has a better image with quad HD resolution unlike iPhone. Android does better with memory management you can download stuff in the background with android.

I don’t give a toss about a slim phone. If something gets too slim it typically loses durability and will bend. It will also be full of comprises like battery size. I think it shows that manufacturers are running out of ways to get people to upgrade.

The only way a current gen slim phone would make sense is it they finally started using solid state batteries, better battery life in a smaller form factor. Wanted to inform you that the S25U will support a M13+ Samsung panel. The S24U had the M13. This means slightly better brightness and durability. The Pixel 9 series and the iPhone 16Pro series still have a better panel M14 panel (Samsung's best of the best).
Just went from an S21 to a Pixel 9 Pro XL. When you're out and about, the smaller phone really comes in handy, especially if you have smaller hands. A bigger phone is definitely better for games and videos though. That's about it. Typing (with autocorrect or speech-to-text), photos, GPS. It's all the same on a smaller phone that is also easier to carry and handle with one hand.
@Liquoricilicious I haven't tried movies yet, but I do know that do to the aspect ratio, TH-cam videos never overlap with the front camera because they're not wide enough to reach it.
I want the bezels to be as thin as red magic 10 pro. Although i wish samsung would make their camera underscreen. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just invisible. If they want to make the cameras as big as apples i wish they would actually make it functional like largers sensor or actual lens size increase. Even though its mostly software. Better hardware can go a long way.
I have s23 right now. And the next time I am changing my phone will be when a phone same size as s23 is giving atleast 6-7hours of SOT under mid to heavy use, with wifi, mobile data, bluetooth and location always turned on. S23 manages about 3~4 hours under these conditions.
Been using Galaxy phones since the S4 and while I'm curious about the S25 series, the Pixel phones have really caught my attention. Simply becuz it's still Android, and is much cheaper than Apple or Samsung. After getting the S24 Ultra I got bored of the same Galaxy format and stuff that has been the same from the previous Galaxy phones like the S10, s20, 21, 22, ect. So, I think once I'm eligible for an upgrade I'll be switching to the latest Pixel phone.

It's definitely mid why would anyone buy this instead of just getting like a s23 used or something. Like if you want that size and if you want to Samsung the s23 s24 and s25 are so similar. The difference is basically that chip but all three of those chips are fabricated by TSMC and handle Android perfectly well. The s23 is still comically overpowered because of the 8g2. Developers haven't caught up to the power yet so it's going to be years before you can really even take advantage of something like the x elite with gaming. With the exception of some niche use cases
Wow looks like the regular s25 in the s25 plus are going to be duds they're just upgrading the processor in putting black rings around the camera so basically the same as the s24 except a processor and some cosmetic jewelry around the cameras That's going to be a little boring. I mean the cameras on the regular s series have needed an upgrade for a couple years I think they're the same as the s21 and the only thing that changes is a new processor so the image supposedly gets better. QI2 is not an issue and it's not a priority for most people. Real fast charging or a better autonomy are, by far, more important. When you buy a smartphone, you only need you smartphone and great fast charging. I don't understand people getting excited that much to buy another accessories. Qi2 is a nice to have.
Love MagSafe on iPhones. Just slap on a magnetic battery pack, and you can be charging. No need to charge via the mains. I assume Samsung is not doing it due to the S-pen.
Yeah no, I went from an iPhone 7 plus to a 12 pro max and it's just too chunky for me (that's my take after 4 years), I don't care about 2 days battery, if it was 1 week maybe. Camera? I don't care. Meme sensors? I don't care. Super epic vapor chambers and super CPU/GPU? I don't care, I don't play gacha phone games. I already went this route with my laptop, I have a workstation/server I can tunnel in with my macbook air if I need power. Smartphones are already plenty powerful, I'm ok with an iPhone Air.
Phones are slim enough already we don't need even slimer phone with lower spec that will bend in the pocket, i don't understand samsung no one asked for that.
What we don't need is larger and larger phones. We need top tier phones to get smaller not bigger.
Any device that has a 7 inch screen or above is considered a tablet, which is why most huge phones hover around the 6.8-6.9 inch range.

Somehow give 5000MAh battery in the size on a regular S25 and its a sweet deal. Samsung already has a nice minimal and recognizable back design.

Wow looks like the regular s25 in the s25 plus are going to be duds they're just upgrading the processor in putting black rings around the camera so basically the same as the s24 except a processor and some cosmetic jewelry around the cameras That's going to be a little boring. I mean the cameras on the regular s series have needed an upgrade for a couple years I think they're the same as the s21 and the only thing that changes is a new processor so the image supposedly gets better. I don't know I'm typing this on a Galaxy s24 Plus so I'm not anti-samsung but they definitely become boring whereas before they used to be the company that innovated now there's a company that doesn't do anything except update the chips in the phones

QI2 is not an issue and it's not a priority for most people. Real fast charging or a better autonomy are, by far, more important.
When you buy a smartphone, you only need you smartphone and great fast charging. I don't understand people getting excited that much to buy another accessories. Qi2 is a nice to have.
Love MagSafe on iPhones. Just slap on a magnetic battery pack, and you can be charging. No need to charge via the mains. I assume Samsung is not doing it due to the S-pen.

Yeah no, I went from an iPhone 7 plus to a 12 pro max and it's just too chunky for me (that's my take after 4 years), I don't care about 2 days battery, if it was 1 week maybe.
Camera? I don't care.

Super epic vapor chambers and super CPU/GPU? I don't care, I don't play gacha phone games.
I already went this route with my laptop, I have a workstation/server I can tunnel in with my macbook air if I need power.
Smartphones are already plenty powerful, I'm ok with an iPhone Air.
