Y’all! I kept reading through the letters later that day & I am happy to announce that a letter she wrote her mother two years later was MUCH better and she got out of debt & even offered to pay for her mother new clothes and a trip to visit! I cried!! 😂😭 💕

Loved the little vintage saucers. The set of bird photos for $15 were so cute! I collect skeleton keys. Would have splurged on those for $4. 😀.

The letters are so cool and I can understand, as I was was touched just by watching your face that it was a sad letter, but an historic one. Loved the vintage and antique books and the Christmas stuff. That one garage sale with the antique blocks for $15 and the strainer for $4 it’s a garage sale. Wow. Loved this video as I said. That $40 cabinet would be sitting in my car, lol. You can tell by the prices what they thought was valuable, but those stacks of green plates were probably vaseline glass, lol. Love the copper planter!

Great fun! I haven't been to a yard sale in too long. I loved the letters and old photos. I hope the rest of the letters are happy. I knew you were going to buy the Santa and reindeer. It's just so perfect. There were more things there I probably would have bought, so next time maybe you should call me and I'll go with you. I wish that was possible. It was nice to see you having fun. That's what it's all about.

Those copper mugs are called “Moscow Mule Mugs.” They are pretty popular right now and are supposed to keep cold drinks cold. They go for about $10 a piece. They could be a great gift for someone since they would probably make a fantastic beer mug.

As an English teacher, I would love that poetry book. I never see old books like that at any thrift stores here.
I love old copper. I collect pieces. I have one I put a chain on and hung a fern over my kitchen sink window.

Maybe the rest of the letters won’t be so sad! 1930’s were hard times…🙁 I agree love the handwriting. They don’t even teach cursive writing in schools anymore and kids can’t read it either! So tragic!
