@@JayHarangue There are some people whose emotions and light shine in their eyes, and your friend was one of them. It's a rare quality, but one you know when you see it, as many have a sort of disconnect. Dave seemed to have a pure and strong spirit, and I have a suspicion he isn't quite finished yet. The actress playing Chloe is called Valentina Novakovic, and she's actually Australian. You can hear her accent slip in the film.

0:34 So true. I had an exchange student stay with us but the school asked me. They were from Italy. Most of the exchange students were ESL students but one was from Wales. I guess she spoke excellent English, it was just sing songy.

The film called deadly exchange that came out in 2017 is about Samantha and her daughter, Blake, host their new foreign exchange student, chloe, for senior year of high school. Chloe’s unstable fantasies of making Samantha her new mother push her over the edge when things don’t go her way.
Blake is a special kind of dumb. Every time she hangs out with Chloe, she gets drugged and passes out, but still trusts her. After the 7th time, she should have started getting suspicious.

It’s very inane that the guy can’t walk forward while in a swimming pool after being pushed by Chloe because even though he can’t swim, it’s not a deep area pool so he could walk forward on the ground to get out.
He had the options of staring up or extending his arm but sadly he chose to humiliate himself instead with that ridiculous performance. 😂

It’s very unbelievable that he just becomes completely helpless while in a pool that isn’t deep.
It’s very contrived suspense as the result of terrible writing.
This is even dumber than the inane retcon that the audience is supposed to accept Jason Voorhees as a kid didn’t drown even though he can’t swim, and no explanation who removed him from the Lake.
@jasoncase9481 5he bad writing is what makes these movies so much fun. I don’t think they take themselves too seriously but I’m not sure. 😂
