The secret to this pedal is that if you set the Rip to about 11 o’clock instead of noon, the transistors’ bias is balanced and instead of the velcro/gated fuzz sound, it sounds and behaves more like a fuzz face, so it will clean up to a nice glassy clean tone by just rolling the guitar volume down.

With a clean mix/blend this pedal would be perfect

Can use a Boss LS-2 or Joyo Orthros Line Selector to mix in some clean.
EHX also make the Tri Parallel Mixer that has a dedicated clean mix knob.
