Donkey Kong showed mercy by not stealing a star when he could. He let you all win. His board game is phenomenal, he just goes easy as if he's playing with his younger siblings. That to me only makes him so much scarier, he has yet to go full out like an anime character.
In the Storm Chasers minigame, DK is obviously losing on purpose. Not only that, he has shown he can mash the Boo away. Normally, he lets the Boo take a lot of his coins instead of mashing him away. He showed he can mash just fine. DK is cold and calculated. He knows how it's all going to end. His tie is just his heavy training weight.
Wild that it took unplugging his mic and seeing Master DK get 3 stars in a single turn for Jo to stop mashing A and take DK down. Truly his Rock Lee moment.
Just lost to Master DK on Peach's birthday cake and I'm feeling some type of way. On the last turn, he got 3 tens on triple dice got a star, then cut through Bowser's area, got another star, and finally landed on me to beat me in a duel for all my coins.
I feel that. Just the other night, I lost a game in Super Mario Party, all because I did the stupid high five at the end of the second-to-last mini game and gave the CPU the one extra coin it needed to both buy and steal a star on the last turn. Needless to say, I was salty AF.
I mean they're prob at the very least playing some minigame island but I really hope they come back to this game semi regularly, or hell other Mario parties too why not
Just a fun fact. The coin star in this game is determined by the total number of coins collected, not the peak coins. So DK would've gotten the coin star.

Big misplay from Jacob at 41:25 he could’ve rolled a 9 or 10 and bought a skeleton key then used it to get to Boo and steal a star from DK forcing him to pay 50 coins to maintain his lead rather than letting him pay the same amount to strengthen his lead fortunately in this case DK was a merciful god

This was by far the best episode of Mario Party I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Unorincally more thrilling than any thriller I remember watching towards the end, and the bond I felt to you three and especially Jacob at the end of the game as we all banded together to banish Master Donkey Kong was beyond parasocial.
During that baseball mini game I felt invested in the Peach vs Kong matchup. Then I looked at Mario just absolutely SWINGING at every chance he got and I died.
Bookmarking 47:23 for myself in the future cause I haven't laughed as hard in ages as when that tornado came and swept everyone away. I just could not believe it was actually in the game it was a total moment of derealization for me
