Nathan Blacklock. He is one of the best NRL Superstars who ever lived. He was a king to many PNG supporters who love Rugby League. I remember when I was still in primary school when he came with the Kangaroos to play a friendly in Moresby. I think he scored several tries in Moresby. We still adore him till today. 😊👍☺️🇵🇬
NRL top try scorer 3 consecutive years in 1999, 2000 and 2001. It felt like the Dragons were never out of a contest with the attacking flair they had during this era. Gave me great joy and hope as a young supporter at the time. They convincingly beat the Melbourne Storm 3 times during 1999. And then led 14-0 at half time in the 4th meeting, the grand final. We all know the rest.
A true entertainer and legend of the game, loved watching the saints in those days a well balanced team that played such an exciting brand of foot ball.
I cant beleive blacklock doesnt get mentioned much these days used to love watching him play
So true, I guess Mundine overshadowed him a bit. Definitely underrated.
7:18 What a Try! Dragons at their best, Rabs with the classic commentary and Blacklock with the finish and 10/10 try celebration 🔥
Ricky walford an awesome winger too ,,
Him and Martin Offiah were absolutely amazing for St George
7:20 What a try

The enigma
Great shame didn't win GF in 99 ,big mistake Mundine not passing soon after half time for likely winning try
He was not only a try scoring machine but he must have been one of the fastest players in 1999
Fastest man in the world in 1999! Need a Rhys Wesser highlight reel from 03-05 pls.
