Now you just run with a fking MP7 without getting killed by a skilled awp-er. And that's not ALL,how many times have you died BEHIND a thick Wall?It happened to me in a match 2 times...that my friend is 64SubShitTick...thats why we NEED 128 at least for faceit/esea.I forgot to say also about the lagger with +100ping,instead of you having advantage of faster response,they kill ya first without even seeing them,or dmg them...

im sorry but, i've played csgo on potato pc's, as well as on faceit, and the impact on frames is not enough to justify worse networking, i literally had a pc that couldn't run the updated dust 2 without lagspikes but i didn't feel that much of a difference in frames on 128 tick servers, and my old pc literally couldn't run cs2 without dropping below 10 frames around smokes. whilst yes there is a difference, it doesn't justify lack of 128 tick, as a minority in less than a single % would actually be unable to play on those servers, might be just that you're testing it on locally run servers which make your pc calculate everything as well as operate bots, which wouldn't be an issue in multiplayer play
I dont know I used to play mm only in csgo and I still feel like normal 64 tickrate movement and ak spray was better but yea the tapping feels better now
If I recall there's also the issue if your FPS drops below the tick rate it can cause excessive reg issues, like 128 tick and 100fps is worse than 64 tick for example. Currently the game is at a generational leap, similar to early early days of CSGO, where it's not uncommon for people to drop below 128. I think the best they could do to solve such an issue is having dynamic tick system with a limit of 128tick for those who can use it

There was no problem with casuals playing matchmaking and other players go for faceit, learning different lineups was just a minor problem. Even though 128 subtick might be demanding in cs2, if you want to play with the big boys you need to upgrade eventually.

well your point is almost not valid considering that there's no optimisation ever done since 2024 it all went south worse frametimes worse framerates they don't care about optimisation that's it there's no reason to have performance issues with post 2019 mid level hardware on a game that runs on a 2015 level software(maybe i'm wrong about ths one) + 2015 level visuals. subtick is made for people who are literally the host not for people who wanted a better hitreg even in 20 ping i've experienced a massive delay in hitreg let alone the 50+ case (which is mostly the case for most people cuz not everyone lives in north and west EU or some certain areas of NA (which servers are hosted) or singapore which is somewhere that is too far from the rest of the world.
I dont know about reasons for this, but i play Valorant and have played CS:GO when it was available. In CS2 rubberbanding, dealyed kills, situations where i got animation of shooting but still got killed, those situations happens in CS2 more than in Val or CS:GO. I love CS2 but i have around 40FPS in intense round. Delayed kills disrupt my focus, rubberbanding is annoying af and same with animation of shot even if bullet wasnt really fired, this shit is really annoying. Game is good but need some fixes :/
You are comparing faceit that probably has 1000 live concurrently user base at once versus valve official which probably has more than 100 thousand live at once....

After update I have only 90-120 fps on similar cpu to you and better graphics. Hell yeah. But the game feels much smoother than cs source with 300 fps.

Make the game 128 tick and remove subtick, make the nades 64tick if so needed. So it doesnt mess up the trajectory. Atleast give us options to play faceit or give us a reason to play on your official servers!! Give the game a good anticheat and people would be happy. You could implement an AI, that you could call into game if you suspect someone is cheating as an overwatcher. The community would pay for the fixes, thats how invested we are. However, valve just don't give a shit. Money shouldn't be a problem here. Stop feeding into their loop, we need to start a riot give the community the power! I agree with 128 tickrate but i also dislike the gameplay, headshots are way too easy, csgo felt rewarding when hitting a sick headshot in cs2 every bot hits a sick shot every now and then because it became so random.

Movement will always be difficult with subtick. Spray is not inconsistent, its literally different from CSGO as Valve explained in their interview. Peekers's advantage is same as CSGO
64 subtick is worse than 64 tickrate in CS:GO actually, I`ve checked the delay on bots(LAN) in both games, 10x slow-mo, in cs2 between shoot and kill there was 18/60 second(0.3s) delay, and in cs:go 64 tick it was 0/60 second(0s) delay. Online it get`s even worse for cs2 subtick😂

You're also hosting the server on your own PC so that is probably the reason it influenced your fps.

There is around 8 ms difference between 64 and 128 tick. You can count how much distance player will make in that time.
sub ticks is shit, and i deleted cs2 tikk i can play 128 tick.

CSGO was a console port, there was no leap, they spent years patching their mistake so it could be playable. two hitboxes remakes.

cs2 is more gpu demanding, so most have a gpu bottleneck. fps would be similar from 64 and 128. If you had a terrible cpu, it would be worse however

Actually CS2 is way more CPU demanding than CS:GO. You can see on almost any computer with a decent GPU that the GPU isn't even being fully utilised.

FaceIt is 64tick since a 10 months. CS2 devs hardcoded 64tick back than, so every server is 64tick and you cannot change that.
