Tip: If you plan on doing perm rods again braid the roots first then do the perm that way it’s easier to separate, anyways this looks so good might try them after I take down my twist!✨

I just found your channel today and I’m so glad, I was just thinking about texturing my hair because it’s so hard to manage and the shrinkage killssss me. I’ve never done a braid out before or perm rod set so hopefully those changes my mind! I love my naturals curls don’t get me wrong but it’s just so hard sometimes. I have multiple textures and low porosity so my hair is always dry and resisting MOISTURE!! 😭😭 Seeing someone that has similar hair like mine makes me feel so much better though ❤
i can understand the stress and overwhelming feeling that comes with being natural. but as long as you find the right products and styles that work for you, you’ll be fine ! i like to just put my hair in mini twists to avoid having to do my hair often. id try that 💗

for all the people who like length and volume on the first day, and have shoulder-length hair: THIS METHOD IS NOT FOR YOUUUUU😭😭 granted the style will look beautiful for any hair length, HOWEVER, take into consideration the length of G's hair & Zuri's hair, bc they'll have you delulu fr😭 (I learned the hard way LOL)--
if you'd like to attempt this style without it being shorter than your actual hair length on day 1, look up "braid and curl" tutorials which will give you the same beautiful curls at the ends, & a defined texture going up the shaft of your hair!! :)

i put a shower cap or plastic bag over my head. making sure no air can get inside of it. :)
