Thankyou for putting on these series of Engine teardowns of hayabusa. You work so efficiently and with care and patience. Thoroughly enjoy watching and gave me an understanding of the complexities of the Busa motor. You do great work.
Wow fascinating! So cool to see the engine being broken down and explained. It is always enjoyable to listen to experts speak on their subject. It's even more so when that expert is a brother. Great vid so far.
good videos im currently trying to rebuild my motor but i dont know how im trying to learn but i need some kind of help any tips that you kno that can get me started
With the clutch, do you know if it's alright to go ahead and use OEM clutch plates with everything else again, or should you go ahead with aftermarket? Wondering for a roughly 250 - 300 hp build.
Hey Tombo, not sure if your still around brother But I'm looking to rebuild my 05 750 GSXR and was looking for a Motorcycle engine stand that allows you to work on the engine through the entire build, crankcase splitting included. I haven't seen anything out there.. Can you point me in the right direction or give me a link to the one your prefer, Thanks!
Tombo.. My brother... I have been looking for answers for so long about that clutch! It took me 10 minutes of watching you and listening to you to FINALLY get my answer. Thank you!!! How can I get in touch with you?
Hello Mr Tombo man I'm wanting a busa but I have heard many time that people are having problems with the trans slipping and jumping out of gear. Being how fast this bike is that would be a nightmare if it happen. What can you tell me about this problem? I don't want to buy a bike with this problem , do the new 2018 have this problem? Thanks keep up the good work. Shay
Ringo Gingo you only have to worry about tranny problems if you do a lot racing. Slipping the clutch and banging the gears for a drag does a lot of damage to any bike.
So you have to take the engine out of the bike to adjust the valves???? That is totally insane and piss poor design. That's something you have to do all the time. I don't want to have to take all that fairing off and the gas tank and take the engine out just to adjust the valves. Or change the spark plugs. Or the oil filter. Its bad enough you have to do all that mess just to replace the rings.

I know this is a year ago...but stock plates are good, check them for spec.....I would only add stronger clutch springs...and a lockup plate

QUIT PUTTING PEBBLES IN THE CRANKCASE FREND!!!
You never use a screwdriver to pry anything aluminum!
Be careful ! I saw a black mamba on the front of the engine. (Yes, I know know it is the oil line.) Whew !
Tombo!!!!
Can u listen to my bike?! It's makin' a nasty rattling sound. It sounds like maracas.
