Mr, Mike , How very nice. Grandmothers are special ,I spent alot of time with mine also. Not a day goes by but I think of her. I know your grandma is very proud of you! The tribute is beautiful. You are my favorite on U tube! Thanks for all the songs I recall growing up ,and others too! Love that old time piano sound!
Thanks Michael, used to see and listen to you a lot in the Beaudesert area. Miss your music (and Beadesert) Leo van Veldhuizen, Kerry, now in Phoenix, USA
So sorry about the loss of your Grandma, Mike. That was a lovely tribute especially the lovely pics of you and her at the end. This is the sort of music I kive and play myself, but what was the third one. I thought it was going to be 'After the ball' but it wasn't. Was it 'Two little girls in blue'? which I'm not as familiar with. (I got 'Girl of my dreams', 'Ramona', 'In the shade of the old apple tree' - You should post more old tyme medleys as musical quizzes.) Nice piano by the way.
Wow, I am just at the beginning of your medley and I have fallen in love! Such an amazing piece, from a truly talented music maker. You rule at what you were born to do. :)
Thanks for enjoying-grandma's are special. If you want to purchase my cds there is a link on my home page (working on 2 more at the moment!) Thanks for your support-Merry Christmas
Depends on the style I guess Dot though it's always a thrill to play on a grand. The old uprights are my weakness-brilliant for the ragtime stuff (though sometimes the response from the keys can be a bit slow if the action is very old).
Very pleasant, his presentation and music very nice:
