Man i absolutely love these video. I live in Jacksonville too I just got a kayak but I don’t know where to find groups to fish with any tips? Keep up the content!
@@gammyvelazquez4161 appreciate it man! There are several Jax kayaking Facebook groups and I occasionally see people posting about getting out fishing together. Jax Yaks, Dirty Duval, North Florida Inshore Slayers. Check out those pages🤙
Man, breaking the rod tip immediately is tough! Only thing you can do it cut it off at the next eye so you don’t keep wrapping the line around the tip all day
I bought 2 St Croix rods and broke them both not too long after, I think Im gonna stay away from them for now. Would you keep using them in the future? Maybe im not used to handling a higher end rod, not sure. A limit of flounder, that's nice man, looked like a fun trip, wrangling those things with the net.
Impressive move, still fishing with a broken rod tip. That’s some pro stuff there. Hey man, I’d like to go fishing with you, one day. Let me know. I’m in the Jax area. Yulee. Good luck!
how long did you fish for and how many gulp did you go through? I've had a lot of luck with gulp too, but I feel like a zman curly tail or grub would give you the same results, what do you think? and how many gulp did you go through?
@@christopherpeterraby prob 3 hours. Used 2 gulps. One had to be cut off on the fish that swallowed it. I’ve tried fishbites curly tail but never Zman. I’ll prob take a look at them but would take a lot for me to switch lol
No one catching anything. Breaks his rod tip. Still going around and slaying it. What a beast !!!

@@KevinMcDonald-eu7xl 😂😂I was hoping the crab would’ve stayed on. Wouldn’t have been my first time eating 1 or 2 crabs for dinner lol
You seem to catch and keep a lot of flounder. Can you do a video on how to fillet them?
I usually dont' filet flounder. Cooking them whole is the best IMO. But if I do, I'll make a video if I do a good enough job lol

I’ve broken 2 as well. But I love how they cast and how light they are. Maybe time to start trying new rods and maybe spend a little bit more😓

Do you like incoming or outgoing tide better for creek flounder fishing?
For the creeks, I like to fish both. Last 2-3 hours of outgoing tide then stay for first of incoming.
What creek if you dont mind me asking?
Looks like sisters creek
I know where that launch is at. Time to dust off my kayak and head out there right now. lol
