Sweet Home 3d furniture importer can also import models generated from other programs, example 3DF Zephyr which can produce 3D models from images or video. In this video I demonstrate how to do this. I created a video using my iPhone, then imported it into 3DF Zephyr which broke the video frames into stills. I then followed a basic workflow, exported the model and then imported the model into Sweet Home 3d.

Thanks Seam for the working through the process flow. When you utilized your iPhone for the shoot did you set any special phone parameters?
Also, have you tried taking a series of individual photos for input and if so were you successful? Unfortunately, utilizing my iPhone 7 and with 30 photos of a vase I was only able to resolve 2 or 3 and I utterly failed.
With the test photos I was able to complete the project and successfully import into Blender as .obj for further use.
Again, I appreciate any insight to the 'how' you utilized your iPhone.

no special settings. But photogrammetry works better with photos. The photos should be in focus and the higher the definition the better. It's a skill really, and I haven't perfected it yet. Also, the main issue with creating photogrammetry of people or animals with one camera is that they get bored, blink, and adjust there pose during the duration of filming or taking shots. A studio with many cameras in all directions focused on the centre works best, but that is out of the ability of most people since it costs a lot of money to set up or hire.

There is little data in over exposed or under exposed areas mainly cause by a high light source and no low down infill lights.
The left side of her nose was in shadow as was part of her leg and shoulder, back and stomach. Her smirk was minuscule but her forehead was super reflective, ???/flour can be used but it's not a suggestion, the female will know what.. Diffuse light is key and plenty of it to cover all angles especially those angles when you say "nothing wrong with those photo's, in reality multiple shadows create a multitude of shapes. I envy your 500 file entry, i'm restricted to 50.
