Another killer Video Kam! Plenty of good info as always, When i was looking for my first bike i came across your channel looking at Vulcan videos but the Gunner stole the show so when i saw one for sale i had to get it. Like you said the prices are ridiculously good for these bikes now i got mine for 6K @ 7,000 miles with a lot of the aftermarket things done to it (Apes, Exhaust with tune, Integrated LED turn signals, passenger equipment). so for people considering getting a victory Gunner or other type the deals are out there for the taking. I'm 6'3" 300 pounds and this is super comfortable for me when a lot of "big" bikes weren't. That 106 freedom engine doesn't play and gets up and goes in a hurry i've found myself getting to highway speed before shifting into 3rd gear before, so power will never be an issue for this bike especially with the amount of low end torque. You can get yourself out of any situation you might find yourself in. This is my daily driver i don't own a car so this is what i commute to work on and ride for fun and it fills both roles perfectly. I bought this bike knowing Victory wasn't a thing anymore and the amount of support out there is amazing, theres facebook pages with a wealth of information as well as Forums like Victory owners group, and Victory motorcycle club. As for parts there's plenty of places still to get them, Lloydz is a good spot so is Witch Doctors, Victory Only, and Victory things. So don't let Polaris killing the Victory brand dissuade you from getting a beast of a machine.
Just brought a 116 Victory Hammer with a big bore kit and a Conquest Customs assault pipe exhaust. Best bike I ever had in my life. Will keep it forever. Had 3 Hartley's before, including a V-Rod. That hammer assassinates any cruiser on the streets, any 117 CVO or any V Rod. Victory made some really bullet proof motorcycles. You can buy one and keep it for life..
I love my Gunner! Everyone compliments my bike. It's extremely reliable, fast as f***, and it handles like a dream. I love engine braking and hearing the pop pop pop. There are also plenty of aftermarket mods that can be done.
I got mine a 2015 gunner two years ago. Its an awesome bike. The 106 engine is incredible. The maintenance on it is super easy. I am big guy and I have Harley Riders always wanting to race at lights. I havent lost once. My bike is pure stock and it dusts tweaked out Harleys. The new 114 are the only engine they have that can keep up. This bike is heavy but you dont feel it while riding.
I demo rode one of these back in 2015, and it’s the only bike that made me not want to buy another sport bike, I had a 2007 Ninja ZX14. I remember falling in love with the torque, and remembering how comfortable it was, looking at one now.
I Had A 2012 Victory HighBall until MAy 2019. The 106 Engine Was/Is a Solid Engine. Before I would have Swapped the Highball for a Gunner and Green. I put a National Fly Shield on it, covered the Speedo, and sat right above curved over the headlight...Curved up just enough to knock all the wind off the Chest and Helmet. Great purchase, If I had the extra money I would probably still buy another used Gunner and run it everywhere. Shifting, Braking, Acceleration, Gears, one sump to take care of Engine, cooling, Primary, and Clutch, the 106 is still an Awesome Engine Design. Before that, I had a 2003 Kingpin with the 92 CI engine, and in between that, Polaris developed and produced the 100 CI engine, another engine with solid performance.
I love my 15 Gunner, zero complaints, tons power, easy maintenance vs Harley that’s for sure, only one oil to change. And they can pretty much whoop a Harley straight out the crate!! I wish they never gave up on them, IMO way nicer than the new Indians, they are way cleaner than an Indian. 🤘🏽👊🏾
I did my break in how I would ride it daily. The reliability of it is amazing. I have 10,000 miles on mine now and have had it since 2017. Very good and powerful bike for the money.
I've owned two Victory motorcycles. My first was a 2012 Vegas 8 Ball. I currently own a 2013 Boardwalk that I just put Lloyd's cams in. The bike also has torque tubes, adjustable timing gear and has been Dyno tuned. I won't part with it. Mine also has the Vic dual shotgun pipes without baffles. I wish they never stop making these, fantastic bikes.
Yo dude! Just rode my gunner for the first time today, man I gotta say you are right! It's like love at first sight, got many many looks. Once again, love the videos and will keep watching on the regular.
keep the videos up man! Your videos inspired me to get rid of my sports bike and head to the gunner family. I have always wanted a victory ever since a young age. I do miss the sporty sometimes but I love the Gunner. :D
Thanks for the honest review. I have a 2010 heritage. Kinda looking for a fun round town bike to play with, but the heritage isn’t going anywhere. Ride safe brother!
Been following you for little over a year and a half. Got my '15 Gunner in 2017, after the shutdown.. Did a lot of research before buying and the local dealer was one of the first 3 Victory dealers from the start...and only 3 miles from the house, lol! I use it for my short trip to work daily in good weather(rather than the Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi) but damn, it ALWAYS seems it takes longer to get home...… This is my one and only til I'm dust, but lovin' every time I ride it.
@@ZL1KAM haven't had the pleasure of seeing how one stacks up...yet... but from everything that's been said, and written, Victory was the bike Polaris should've focused more on. Indian was mostly just a name recognized from years long ago.
The Indian price point is just so much higher than the victory brand. I like the classic look of the victory brand instead of a new polished Indian. Just my style though
@@ZL1KAM there are many who agree with you on this! I agree also... still looking forward to my first brush-up with the 106! I'll let you know how it turns out, when it happens...👋😎🤙
I test road 2 Harley's and then about two weeks later I test road 2 victories and I would absolutely buy a victory over a Harley any day They shift smoother they're more comfortable just an easier motorcycle to ride
I love the Gunner. You introduced it to me TBH and I still haven't seen one IRL (in NZ). I love that they're uncommon here. I'm not a huge fan of Harley (it's just a preference thing) and I loved the Vulcan, which would have been my 1st choice for a cruiser UNTIL you introduced me to The Tank. Since then it has been my dream cruiser. Sadly here in NZ there are very few available and even less parts around. Plus here in NZ, they are still quite expensive. They're priced around 15K NZD (9K USD) with around 6 to 10K miles on the clock.... where as an Indian Scout 2020 is priced at about 18K NZD. I do love how few of them are around though. Here in NZ I could potentially go to a group ride or meet and not see another one whatsoever which is a huge bonus for me.
I hope you like it when you see one Irl. I think you will 👍 Yeah it’s always nice riding on something you don’t see everyday. I haven’t seen another green one in person 😂

I love that sound! Awesome! Maybe I'll buy a Victory in the next few years. I was thinking of an Indian first, but in Germany they're not that cheap. Unfortunately there are hardly any second hand bikes from Indian here. BUT there are some Victory bikes around. I don't need a brand new bike.

They promised to make parts for like 8 years after they announced they will stop production of the bikes so don’t know what your brother was talking about do your research
Witchdoctor.com victoryonly.com and conquest customs can help you get whatever parts you need. I am on a victory hammer 8ball had a hammer s before this one. I love the hell out of them
Love my Gunner. Never going to sell it. Another website to get aftermarket parts and accessories is victoryonly.com They have a lot of good stuff as well.
I have a 2001 V92sc. Had it for about 8-10 years now. There are parts you need out there. Just have to be creative if you want to customize it. I bought a new bagger for touring in December. Guys at the dealership we’re arguing about who was going to buy my v92SC trade in. Unfortunately for them I planned on keeping it. Way too much fun to ride to give up. It’s not pristine because I ride the hell out of it but I still get lots of looks if you’re into that. So far changed oil, battery, tires. Added some NOS sport bars and a phone holder.
@@ZL1KAM I know these bikes aren't really cornering kings, but I sold my Scout before it killed me. Couldn't get used to bike not being able to corner adequately . That you've may have sampled the Scout and the Gunner, does the Gunner have better ground clearance than the Scout? I'm from NZ and there aren't many for sale, but have spotted one today. You're opinion would be much appreciated.
The 106 freedom is a supper strong motor I have a cross roads and an Octane. Best place for victory parts is witch doctor at buywitchdoctor.com thay have plenty of stuff. Go the Gunner
Depends on what you want to do. The Octane is super quick and light in the twistes but not so good on a long ride. The cross roads is fantastic on a long ride and tour still with good handling but not so quick from a standing start. I have recently picked up a challenger it has the best of both. Super quick and super smooth for a long tour.

I love the hell out of them
Can I do cross country ride on the gunner?
I regret not getting one.
Never too late brother
@@ZL1KAM I gotta keep what I have for now. I have traded to many bikes in the past four years. LOL
😂 I feel ya
Love my Gunner. Never going to sell it. Another website to get aftermarket parts and accessories is victoryonly.com They have a lot of good stuff as well.
Thanks for the feedback brother! I’ll check them out
I'm looking at a 2000 Victory V92, and I'm worried about having to find parts. Is that hard to find parts for the Victory motorcycles?
I have a 2001 V92sc. Had it for about 8-10 years now. There are parts you need out there. Just have to be creative if you want to customize it. I bought a new bagger for touring in December. Guys at the dealership we’re arguing about who was going to buy my v92SC trade in. Unfortunately for them I planned on keeping it. Way too much fun to ride to give up. It’s not pristine because I ride the hell out of it but I still get lots of looks if you’re into that. So far changed oil, battery, tires. Added some NOS sport bars and a phone holder.
I wanna buy killakam merch!
One day!
God im lookin at a hammer vs a scout.
Pretty much same price point.
Ooooo both are so solid. Let me know what you end up with!
After watching, I have no idea what the Victory Gunner looks like.
🤣🤣🤣 google is difficult
People are really selling them for a lot cheap now
You didn't tell us what word to type into the comment section so the word I choose is...'Broom-Broom'🤣
Thanks for watching! Broom Broom 😂
how about Vroom Vroom :)
👌 thank you both
The 106 freedom is a supper strong motor I have a cross roads and an Octane. Best place for victory parts is witch doctor at buywitchdoctor.com thay have plenty of stuff. Go the Gunner
Thanks for the comment man! Sounds like you got some gorgeous bikes. Ride safe out there
How do you like the power on both bikes? I’m torn between an octane and larger victory
