Hi Andy good video as always. I know it’s a bit niche but you didn’t mention Sprive for saving on your mortgage. Maybe an idea for a future video😀

I’ve tried chip before and I liked it, but stopped using it after they added a charge for autosaves, i wanted to try out plum since auto saving is free, but I’ve been seeing some really bad reviews recently due to money going missing

I've tried chip before (£20 bribe) and the major issue I have with these is psychological. If I'm just moving money from my current account to savings, by SO or by algorithm, if I don't have an end goal for what I'm saving for it's a bit pointless.
I can just take it back out again if I fancy or just use it as a 'backup tank'. If I know it's being saved for a new roof or car maintenance then I know I can't spend it.
These apps are just a bit airy-fairy really for me, I guess.

I downloaded it yesterday after watching this video. The app now allows you to set up goals and even allows you to put percentages of your savings into different goals according to your preferences which I think it’s a great idea!

Can you also explain further the new terms of chip which says goobye bonus, hello interest. It sounds like ill be paying charges than earning interest. Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Andy, apologies if you’ve mentioned it elsewhere. I used to have chip a couple of years back then ditched when they started charging. Went with plum and very happy with it. Just looking to diversify funds a bit more; would you suggest running both plum and chip concurrently? Would there be any downsides to this? Or is it best just to stick with one?

I have a cash ISA already. I am confused whether Chip and Plum are considered an ISA saving account? Will my year allowance of £20000 be affected if I use Plum to round up every amount I spend and save for me?

    Hi Andy
I've set up a plum and a moneybox account for the nationwide incentive. I've set them both for £2 week which I will then transfer back after I have received incentive. Just checking this will meet criteria ?

I seriously need help or some reassurance. My dad gifts me money each week to my Santander account that I’ve had since I was 16. I then transfer it to my monzo account to save money as I prefer the layout and how it’s easy to send money to friends. I haven’t activated monzo as my main account but I have a relative large sum in there. I’m worried that monzo will just randomly close my account because I transfer money from my other accounts. I’ve read online and I’m petrified as I use monzo for practically everything now a part from receiving my wage in there! Where should I store my money? Help😫
