The problem is the R/T. It's a $50K plug in hybrid that nobody wants. The GT trim with the normal drivetrain is actually a good value at $28K with a reasonable discount.

Ive said it for years with certain cars. My 02 NB Miata i own i put 10 grand in high end parts and have a car i love its unique and i smile every time i get in it. New cars are over prices ,cheaply made ,fall apart fast and coat too much to maintain. People are easy to scam with cars.

I’ve got a lot to say about this. Stalantis is destroying the Chrysler brands. The writing is on the wall, American job layoffs, cutting production on all American made vehicles. The company is very toxic to the American workers. the French hate Americans. All this company is going to do is re-badge French and Italian junk and pass it off as American when it has nothing to do with our brands. Not to mention they are trying to get as much money out of these subpar vehicles. If the vehicle says made in Italy or France, I won’t touch it. I only buy made from Mexico, Canada, or the US. The CEO is very clueless and knows nothing about American culture and the American market and furthermore, he couldn’t care less. The Jeep name is heavily diluted. Chrysler has no models and Dodge has no American flare because they killed off all their Dodge models that had a huge fan base. I could see this company dumping Chrysler Dodge Jeep and probably the Chinese might buy it. I just wish Chrysler could be just American again. Lee Iacocca would be rolling in his grave if he seen all his hard work vanish. We need another savior for the Chrysler brands. It’s more than just a brand. It’s a heritage

The Hornet is the same as the Alfa Romeo Tonale, not the Jeep. Pretty sure the Jeep is discontinued.
