Congrads, I remember seeing this series from #1-#19 on the stands. The first ten issues I think I was too young to like the Surfer. It was too adult in themes. And I couldn't relate to him as a 7-8 year old. Also the .25 cents price probably drove me away. I loved the cover to #4 too. By issue #10 I think it was also only .15 cents. And the guest stars grabbed my attention too. Being a huge Spidey and FF/ Torch fan too. I bought issues #10-#19 which I loved. Loved the Silver Surfer in the Sub-Mariner #34 & #35. I bought every issue of the Sub-Mariner too. I loved Sal Buscema's art as much as I did Big John''s. When Sal had a great inker like Sam Grainger, Tom Palmer, etc. Beautiful copy!
