I didn't care for this series and ended up getting rid of my standard sized hardcover. With that said, it's nice to see a Batman deluxe that isn't $50

I read this when I first was getting into comics and have yet to read anything relating to Metal and was quite confused.
Whats the different between standard hardcover and this new edition?
I’d love to see this book included in a All-Star Batman omnibus by Scott Snyder. I know they were considered a bit of a let down by the community but I loved Snyder’s All Star Batman. And I’d really be psyched to buy that omnibus with this story included. DC let’s do it!

I'll be reading this as part of my Snyder Metal saga, which includes Batman, Doomsday clock and all Star Batman as preludes. Probably start next week. Excited😁
How do doomsday clock and all star Batman relate at all to snyders Batman run
Neither are really necessary reading for Metal but I'm the type of reader that like to see the pieces whoever small laid out. Like Doomsday Clock does sort of get mentioned in Death metal(I haven't read the whole thing so cannot comment) Same with All Star the first ally introduces the Blackhawks later seen in metal. Once you see the pieces come ogetrher its more satisfying imo.
I definitely recommend you read his Justice league, Batman Superman who are the secret six, Hell Arisen. Flash forward is optional.

Whether you mean Morrison's Batman vol 2 omni or Tomasi and Gleason's Batman and Robin, please buy it. They're wonderful, incredibly worth your time, and may even go as far as to change your ideas of what comics can be

@@TOAA_Infanore long halloween is an amazing story. But batman/robin by peter j tomasi has much more content and, in my opinion is a better overall story

No omnibus collects this, at this moment. I assume no omnibus will. This could possibly have been included on the cancelled year of the villain omnibus they announced, but it was not on the specified content. So, even if they announce ir again, it will probably not be collected there.
It's also not included in the metal or death metal omnibuses, so this will probably be the best edition to buy
Going to have to correct you about the Batmen where they came from different universes & not timelines. Plus, you don't need to read the entire Snyder Batman run where reading Dark Days: The Forge #1 is the place to start.
I was speaking of their ages. So they died at different times of Bruce’s life. The set up for Metal starts with Court of Owls. But yes, you completely can read The Forge if you wanted to.
What does a deluxe edition have that the original doesn't? I have the original hardcover.

From what I understand, deluxe editions can contain more comic book issues, and they’re usually height wise taller books so bigger artwork.
This one does not include more issues than the hardcover. Just bigger size artwork (pages are taller, the size of an omnibus) and it may include some extra artwork pages at the end (not sure if its the case with this edition or not). But definitely no more comic book content

Is the material of the pages the same as the Standard hardcover edition? Because that material is really bad
I got deluxe book yesterday with some of my comic books and I very happy what I got.
I still reading Dark Night Metal omnibus book and having a fun time reading the story.
I should finish the Dark knight Metal by tomorrow or the weekend.
Don't forget Omar it free comic books day on Saturday and I will be going to my local comic book shop and another comic book shop to get my free comics.

But that story is not in the deluxe book so you may have to get the omnibus book to read that story how
the dark Multiverse Batman became
Batman Who Lough.
But I hoping that DC will do omnibus book that lead up to Dark Knight Death Metal that collects Batman and Superman, The Infected Year of The Villains and Lex Luthor vs. the Batman who Lough.
And also Scott Snyder Justice League omnibus.
