I tribute this comment to all the guys out there despite feeling all of the weight of the world on their shoulders, burdened with all the guilt, remorse, and shame for all the mistakes they’ve made, or have lost someone close to them. They still choose to fight the good the fight. And let this song be a reminder to never lose hope. And most importantly. Never give up.
2:49 my son graduated from the very high school where I work as the assistant principal. I graduated in 93’ and my son graduated in 2021, thanks to all my staff, you helped my son finish the fight.
For us, the storm has passed and the war is over. But let us never forget those who journeyed into the hallowing dark and did not return. The original Xbox 360 servers were shut down and our childhood has passed. To all of our Spartans who went offline, your sacrifices helped us finish this fight. You enabled all of us and you will never be forgotten. ❤
"Things look different, without the Prophets' lies clouding my vision. I would like to see our home... to know that it is safe." "Fear not, for we have made it so." "By your word, Arbiter." "Take us home!"
The first shot when I showed the ship in the background with this music during the funeral literally gave me chills. Perfect setting, perfect tone, perfect everything.
The HALO series could have continued by having it star the Arbiter and the Shipmaster reclaiming Sanghelios from Covenant control. The potential for that should have been utilized in some way
"I remember how this war started" "what your kind did to mine" "But, you have my thanks, for standing by in the end" "Can't believe he's dead" ------------------------------------------ "Were is so easy"
A halo og. A veteran... I've given up on halo entirely BECAUSE 343 ruined the franchise so badly. Bungie halo will always have good special place in my heart. To many good memories! Lololol 343 halo??? Not soo much. Sad to say, BUT... Sigh halo is dead.
for us the storm has past...bungie has had their time now 343 must try try to deliver hope and vanquish their past failures we know 343 will never make a game like halo 3 or reach but they will light up anther golden era of halo and let it shine bright and forever more as halo reaches for the stars

I needed this. Thank you.
@@valeriainurb keep fighting.
@@rodrigomercado9815 I’ll try and finish the fight :’)
RIP Sgt. Johnson. You were one of the greatest, funniest, and strongest characters in the franchise.
This is one of the best pieces of music to ever be on a soundtrack ever

'Twas truly the end of an era.
This plays in my head now whenever I miss the old days of playing Halo 3 back then.

I feel this in my soul man,
"I remember how this war started"
"what your kind did to mine"
"But, you have my thanks, for standing by in the end"
"Can't believe he's dead"

"Were is so easy"
This is being played at my funeral
Rest easy Spartan, humanity is safe. For you have made it so.
This is pretty neat
"Were it so easy"
Were it so easy.
Bungie told us to *never forget,* So let this be a *tribute,* hm?

@@real_kerbzYT its dead. Get over it
If Halo ended on Halo 3 without the epilogue, it would’ve still been just fine.🥹
