You are right, I remember waking up in the mornings eager to jump out of bed and switch on my Xbox 360. Before the sun would rise,I would be joining a Halo 3 lobby and matchmaking. I was in awe of that game and all the others that came after it within that time period. My friends would come over and play split screen and we would all be overjoyed with it. It is funny how at the time it just felt normal that something so great existed, but as the old sayings go - you don't know that something is gold until it is gone. It might just be a game, but for many of us it influenced our early minds and hopefully one day we can bring these dreams into reality and maybe work to a brighter future for humanity and place us among the stars.
I never played Halo, but I have so much respect for how much the series & the character of the Master Chief meant to three generations of gamers. This is a beautiful symphonic tribute to a powerful game. It continues to resonate with older and younger gamers alike, which is testament to how well it was made. I enjoyed this very much.
Here also an all-time PC player 👋🏻 Tip for you: if you want to play Halo's PC version with friends then download "Nucleus Coop". It's able to convert a loot of games who don't support local coop in split screen games, you can even split the screen on multiple monitors. Oh and it's completely free what's insane
“It is acceptable,” Mendez said, “to spend their lives if necessary.” He finally turned and meet John’s gaze. “It is not acceptable, however, to waste those lives. Do you understand the difference?” “I . . . believe I understand, sir,” John said. “But which was it on this last mission? Lives spent? Or lives wasted?” Mendez turned back toward the blackness of space and didn’t answer. - The Fall of Reach
I am 27 now. And growing up my grandparents bought my twin and I an XBOX 360 with halo 3. We didnt have high speed internet at the time and played the campaign over 100 times. Then go to our cousins to play online. Eventually we got high speed were able to play at home online. BUT the memories with all my cousins and friends this game brought. I will NEVER forget. HALO....you opened up a new world for gamers and changed the landscape of gaming history. Thank you for everything. Godspeed Spartan. A spartan is never gone, just MIA. Spartans, attack life to the fullest‼
They don't make Spartans like they used to. Whether for better or worse. They were what we needed them to be, and countless men are forever grateful for them.
Truly breathtaking! I'm having a flashbacks of my Xbox 360 days listening to this. Completing co-op campaigns with friends, unlocking achievements, back-to-back on multiplayer, goofing around on custom games. Those golden days shall never be forgotten and what the Halo franchise truly meant for us in those days.
Thank you so much mate! I haven't played it in my childhood unfortunately, but I started Halo Infinite one or two years ago and loved it from the very first second. We played almost every part in a few weeks
This song is about a story.. The story of a boy. Who became a man. Who became a weapon. Who became a soldier. Who became a hero. Who became hope. Who became a legend. And legends are never forgotten, for they are unforgettable. Never forget.....117
Im listening to this on my birthday as I think of all the friends and family I used to play these games with that are no longer a part of my life. Gone but never forgotten. "You're on your own Noble. Carter out."
Halo CE came out when I was in Kindergarten.... now I'm 25 missing all of the Halo 3 and Halo Reach custom games nights with my friends. I miss the legendary runs, the easter egg hunts, the skull finding, the co-op best records being beat at 2am. Never has a video game series meant more to me then Halo. It brought my best friend and I together. It helped me form a relationship with another friend to get him through bullying. and now I will "never forget" those memories. Thank you Chief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This "game" is the kind of game that brings you to another dimension. Even the lore of Halo makes so sense. It's just like living in a parallel universe, having the opportunity to jump into a dramatic, frightening, heroic, and sensational experience at same time. Anyone here who played Halo knows what I am talking about... The series is something , let's say, more "modern, " not really in line with the pure concept of Halo, but the game, the books, the trilogy... it's a journey. It has been an honor for me to play Halo since my childhood. Still playing, I'd like to make my children play it if I ever have any... It was, and still is for me, a unique experience to enjoy the Halo world.
This brings back memories.. Halo 3 was the first game I ever played when it came out (was 4 at the time). I still remember the nightmares I had about the Flood but I will never forget the memories I made on it across the years that followed. Played tons of Co-op with my father doing splitscreen sessions in the evenings even going past the time I was supposed to go to bed.. played tons of custom games and forge with friends that came to my house and we would go on for hours in Forge mode.. same with Halo Reach, Halo 3 ODST and even Halo 4.. I will be grateful for those memories my entire life even if they were in a turbulent time of myself I still replay all the games non stop on MCC. I played Halo 5's campaign and it's multiplayer but NOTHING will ever beat the memories of a long bygone era, which despite having passed, still lives on because of this beautiful community. Grateful to be part of this community, love to each and everyone of you people, even if we don't agree on all our stances in our lives
The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a golden hue over the sprawling landscape of the Halo ring. Here, amidst the echoes of battles won and lost, the Master Chief stood, his green armor gleaming in the fading light. He was silent, but his presence was felt. The Chief surveyed the gathering, seeing not just players, but friends who had shared this universe with him. “Hey, everyone.” His voice, steady and calm. The players felt a rush of emotions as they turned towards their legendary hero, their avatars standing proudly at attention. “It’s been a long journey,” the Chief continued. “From the Covenant to the Banished, we have fought side by side. You have laughed, cried, and celebrated victories with me. Each battle has left its mark, not just on this universe, but on our lives beyond it.” He directed his gaze towards the crowd, “I know many of you have moved on, finding new challenges in your lives, but I want you to remember the moments we created together. It was never just a game. It was a chance to be part of something greater than ourselves. As we say goodbye, I honor the time we shared together. This isn’t the end; it’s a new beginning. Cherish the moments we had here, carry them with you. Whenever you need a reminder of what we built together, look back and know that I will always be watching over you, always cheering you on - no matter where life takes you.” The Chief stood tall, and resonate silence filled the air as players absorbed his words, feeling the weight of their shared experiences draw them closer together one last time. For many, it was a bittersweet farewell. They had come from different places, but their hearts had united in one world that inspired imagination, courage, and friendship. And then, one by one, they raised their weapons - a final salute to their hero and the experiences they had cherished together. The golden sky behind them morphed into a kaleidoscope of colors, reflecting the vast range of emotions shared in this last moment. With one final nod, the Master Chief turned, his voice echoing in the hearts of those who had stood beside him. "Until we meet again." Then Chief entered the portal, and the final rays of the sunset fell on an empty platform.

*HALO!!!* Man, I loved those games back in the day. Oh the nostalgia. I played the first 3 games, probably hundreds of times with my brothers and then my husband before our Xbox and Xbox 360 *both* died around the same time back in 2010. I haven't played Halo since, but some of my kids have played the first two games.
I had a good friend was really good at Halo 3 who tragically died in a car accident at the end 2015 now every time I hear this or boot up Halo I remember him

Amazing work! This brings back so many fond memories of playing on the 360. Having grown up watching my parents and grandparents play Halo, then joining them on Halo 3, this has a special place in my heart. I was wondering if you’d be willing to do a cover of Halo Wars 1, Spirit of Fire Theme? No one has done an epic cover, at least that I’ve found, and I think it’s a really under appreciated song compared to the main theme from the original games.

Разбуди, когда буду нужен....
Awesome! 117k views!
