Heidi: "an old book series called animorphs."
Me: excuse me, it's not that old...😒
It came out in 1996 and ended in 2001. Ten years after that, it enjoyed a brief re-issue.
Tom should have definitely said "Hello friends" to star his dialog.
The animorph pic of the mouse and Tom from myspace both had me in tears. The congressmen never even asked her about Facebook 😂😂😂😂. SNL u killed it this week.
Oh man, James Johnson is already killing it
This guy IS something, amazing pro vibe already
You look great in a silk robe.
Old men who don’t understand tech is the best. If only these old men weren’t in charge of the government.
And writing laws all of us have to follow. Primary all of them.
Don't forget Tennessee's Marsha Blackburn and her CYBERBOTS! assessment. Net Neutrality foe who was assigned to the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology yet doesn't know sh*t about technology! It's across the board. Old Women too.
plus Feinstein
“Stop me when I get there!”
Animorphs! There's literally hundreds of us fans still out there!
The MySpace Tom lol!😂🤌
I didn't watch the Hearings, but I'm sure this is how it actually went
It's worst, you have a bunch of old people who know NOTHING about how internet works.
It's not how they went, but it's nice to know people--possibly people old enough to vote--are "informing" themselves by watching late night comedy shows.
@@Eldanogrande That's why Democrats focus on this age group. It's where all the easily brainwashed idiots reside.
@@nate7778 it's not like watching the politicians directly stops the brainwashing though, is it? Democrats just have all those ideals that sound good on paper but don't actually work. Remind me, how many boomers had organized protests to fight the military and promote communism?
As an old fart, I actually do watch CSPAN on a regular basis. This portrayal is way off and not at all how the Senate runs when it's in session. Each Senator gets 5min of q&a; once the time is over, the Chairman moves on to the next. They are not allowed to chitchat back and forth willy nilly. They are on a strict timeline and follow protocol. All of them Ds and Rs come prepared to ask real, serious questions to the guest or guests. For the most part, they all are respectful.
How did they get the actual senator Cruz on the show???
That was clearly Aidy Bryant. That character had too much intelligence and integrity to be the real Senator.
@@Chunkboi lmao
Why do they have Aidy play Cruz? Are they trying to call him fat? I don't understand.
@@Chunkboi yeah. I guess you missed the joke. Better luck next time
@@JoeNathan42420 oh, no, I got the joke, I played another off of that one.
Lindsay Graham as Paul Lynde is something I never knew I needed
Yeah, Paul Lynde if he inhaled helium.
And for those who don't remember the Animorphs books, the cover is from book 22 "The Solution". The girl turning into a mouse is Rachel.
This is one of the best SNL skits I've ever seen, who wrote this???
James Austin Johnson is going to have so many writers wanting to write for him.
I like Pete Davidson too and love how he stays in character now adays and does not burst out laughing in every skit. He kills Como. That said wtf is with the screamin like he is the beatles in the 60's?!?!? In this skit he was funy, But, there were so many other funny parts prior that got a chuckle from the audience.
bc it’s pete and everyone loves him
Yeah he’s really come into his own!
8:00 The same girl screaming over and over must really love Tom from MySpace or Pete Davidson
She was annoying..
"America is in a lot of debt right now, should we do a Squid Game?" 🤣🤣
Somehow the snl crew perfectly encapsulated modern meme culture.
7:20 “It’s meh-meh”😂
That's a great opener... SNL is totally back on track.
Really?
@@rebelWP Well, the opener was good.
Lmao most of this episode was absolute dog shit.
Did you catch how they didn't say pass the reconciliation bill? Corpo Pigs.
@@IScreamedWolf Kim hosting. What do you expect?
*Pete breaking character*: Just like Tom and Myspace, I can't believe I am still around.
This is legit the best SNL skit on have seen in a long time
Really? If that is true I can keep skipping SNL
Jesus, that's sad.
The last two faces in the skit both made me smile a lot.
Pete Davidson standing sideways in the classic Tom pfp pose is the perfect touch
Pete got a solo Live from New York. That's big.
James Austin Johnson is gold
one of their best choices of new cast members
his Lindsey Graham was a big disappointment. I'm waiting for his Trump.
He's a legit great guy too, check out his intreview with Sam on the Majority Report sometime.
I prefer Kate's Lindsey
@@re-manvision2354 He probably needs some time to get all the mannerisms right. Apart from that, JAJ has been an absolute revelation, what a debut!
Pete finally got to do the "Live from New York...It's Saturday Night!" bit alone! Well deserved!
Even the untalented get a shot sometimes.
He’s the best!!
7:06 - Well, guess I'm gonna simp for that crack-up....
Also, Zuckerberg bit was brilliant, but somehow Pete's Tom just kicked me in the jimmy until I laughed.
Lol Cory booker eyes lmao and the Stuart little challenge
