Join Ian Flynn, Aaron Hammerstrom, and Reggie Graham in celebrating Classic Tails's 30th Anniversary! A comic all about the cutest, smartest, bravest fox around?! Heck yeah! Best buds Sonic and Tails are off to Flicky Island for a much needed vacation! But the relaxing beaches and beautiful mountains have been replaced by railroad tracks and giant crystals-scaring off the Flickies! Tails will have to put on a brave face to defeat the magical villain: Witchcart!

I love how they brought back a toned-down version of the Fleet way Comics Sonic attitude, with the brashness and unwillingness to listen to advice, but they didn't go full on and make him a jerk. I actually like this version of Classic Sonic.
IDW Classic Sonic could certainly give IDW Modern Sonic some pointers on how to be a better hero; at least he can admit when he screwed up! Heck! Fleetway Sonic could give IDW Modern Sonic on how to be a better hero! ...right after IDW Modern Sonic punches Fleetway Sonic in the face for being mean to Fleetway Tails, that is.
@@videogollumer they could definitely all stand to learn from eachother. Modern IDW Sonic learned how to be an actual decent person, while the classics had more ruthless and effective ways of dealing with villains.
@@Sp00kyBones I don't exactly call making decisions that promote anarchy on top of anarchy "decent". Sonic may not be TRYING to promote anarchy, but his decisions are certainly leading to A LOT of it.
@@videogollumer I'd argue the same could be said for both Classic and Fleetway Sonic. Both charge into situations head on, often making circumstances more dire or worse, because they do not consider the consequences and often don't listen to others trying to help.
While you are correct, I'd argue this goes for *all* of them.

This was a great story even with the short abrupt ending, WitchCart and her makes a full comeback with fresh designs and personalities I especially love Carrottia she's my new favorite

I like to see a Mighty and Ray anniversary focusing on obscure characters Mighty, Ray, Honey, Heavy and Bomb, the hooligans and Battle bird armada.
I would like to see a Mighty & Ray anniversary edition that would be Interesting to read.
I hope they have a modern version

Let's be honest. If you never saw Witchcart and her minions before; you were probably thinking:
Hocke-Wulf: Diet Fang the Sniper
Bearenger: A bear riding a Bullet Bill
Carrotia: Evil Cream
Witchcart: Shameless rip-off of Disney's Witch Hazel.
Witchcart is not a ripoff she straight up was a Disney witch. tails Sky Patrol was originally going to be a Mickey game however they lost the license to do that so they changed it into a tails game and made the villain designs different.

This reminds me of Paul Blart Mall Cop lol. The way Tails has to take out all the bad guys using his smarts and then moves on to fight the mastermind.

The inclusion of the flickies make for a good reference to Hyper Tails.
There were scenes that reminded me of banjo and luigi's mansion, and I really enjoyed it.Witchcart is a character I'd like to see appear in the main story.
Witchcart is literally just Gruntilda from Banjo-Kazooie, lol
Witchcart came first; but yeah, the pretty much gave her Grunty's consistent rhyming mannerism here.

That's amazing you put another one to keep In the frame on your wall. I'm thinking of doing that as well since I got a lot of different cover variants In my physical collection of 217 comics of the IDW Sonic comics.
@@MikeTheHedgehog To be honest I got it just cause hes my favorite character ever since me and my brother would play sonic 2 when we were little decades ago, I got the IDW collections thinking they would be the same classic sort of art style but they arent' so I haven't got very far reading them yet because I was slightly disappointed.
I also have a small merch collection lol keychains and whatnot
I liked the comic, but I definitely would have preferred a return of the battle bird armada from tails adventure
