Exploring the Cederberg

We took a weekend trip through the Cederberg (celebrating my birthday) - exploring a few of its incredible beauty.
For the first night, we camped at de Pakhuys - we were blessed with amazing winter weather, the nights were surprisingly pleasant. The next morning we walked the short waterfall hiking trail and explored the area before we headed off to our next location.
From here we drove through Wuppertal and stopped for brunch just off the road before we headed off to Kromrivier. On our way, we explored the beautiful Eselbank’s Waterfall - what an incredible sight.
Later that evening we pitched the tent at Kromrivier Cederberg Park - such a lovely spot especially for those not used to camping or wanting more facilities at hand. Each campsite has its own clean ablution and a great fireplace under the acorn trees. Ice and firewood are available at the office and you can always opt for eating at the restaurant too.
The next morning we took the long road home and stopped for one last hike up the Maltese Cross Trail.
