The reason why the Hellcat is ranked higher in the 1/2 mile despite having a slower E.T. is because most events generally prioritize trap speed in this particular test.
I think its one of the best ferrari's ever made. Unconventional practical exhilarating and the sound of a N/A V12 :) Ferrari will never make a four door car that's for sure so it's not a wagon it's a weapon.
I have a story to this car: we where in italy. In the region of piemont. Sitting on a bench. And then i heard this car rushig throug the wineyards. The engine note was just out of this world and the roadpresence ... it was just unbelivable. Even my gf was just jawdropping. And she isnt in cars. Brutal car.
Have on in the City and I daily it. Maintenance nightmare. Two batteries a year. Goes into limp mode a few times a month. The extended warranty is absurdly expensive and I'm convinced there is a leak in the gas tank. In the last month alone : changed the battery, changed all the break lines because of a leak, transmission light on for ten days for no reason, TPMS stopped working - had to have all systems rebooted.
These cars are so good now. Robert from Apex runs his all the time and with a 7 year warranty unlimited mile and same with maintenance they are a obvious choice. I have seen several FF and F12's with 60k plus miles running great.
@@NutButDontTella before the 458Italia Ferrari maintenance was horrible. Now they are on the better end of Supercars. They are not as good as Porsche or the Huracan but they are better then most and that warranty and maintenance is a game changer for most.
@@eichler721 Porsche has great lease rates, but I never considered Porsche simply because it lacked the "wow" factor to me. You dont turn heads, you dont get the looks and you certainly dont get the performance for what theyre asking. Now Ferrari and Lamborghini both had a 10 year finance program? Something similar. Those cars are worth it. If McLaren can up the reliability and open up more service centers (1 only in Hawaii for the whole state, 7 islands) that would be ideal.
@@NutButDontTella agreed finally McLaren has a service shop in Washington. Still the Ferrari one is better where I live. I only want a Porsche Taycan, 911 Turbo S, GT3 Manual, GT3RS, and GT2RS. The rest are boring and I would get a C8 Z06 over a 911 Carrera 4S.
I would buy a FF in a heartbeat!!! It's one of my favorite Ferrari's of all time!!! Obviously a GTC-4Lusso would be better but these are still incredible. Something I haven't seen mentioned in the comments is all the standing start times were done WITHOUT launch control.... Ferrari has easily one of the best launch controls in the business!!! I guarantee that if launch control was used, the times would be greatly improved!!! And trap speeds would improve as well. This car easily does a very high 2 to VERY low 3 second 0-60 when launch control is used!!! Kinda sucks you guys didn't use it.... Especially because its not like it hurts the car at all or is hard on it!!!
The mighty V12; the pinnacle of automotive achievement, perfected by Ferrari. I will shed a tear when it goes out of production completely, although I pray that day never comes. The sound is just intoxicating and I can't wait to experience the rush of acceleration and torque. Thanks for another great video!
I've owned a 2014 FF for about a month and I love the car. It takes some getting use to. A bit quirky, but very practical for an exotic sports car. Great grocery getter.
Great video quality as always but I enjoyed the others more. This guy isn't bad it's just that I subbed and I watch this channel cuz I really liked the owner of the channel with his voice-over and serious but entertaining voice.
Wow! The sound in the video is outstanding! Keep doing the same external mic set up for future videos, seems to work extremely well. Also the camera work in this video seems better!
I love the FF, I cant believe this car is the same price as a Rapide second hand. Between the two theres no contest not to mention the FF has more leg in the back and sounds better. I love the Ferrari models that are somewhat under the radar and dont attract as much attention like the FF, and the 550/575
My dream car. A Ferrari that drives and acts like a Ferrari but doesn't get attention everywhere you go! Also the body style is great. I used to love the old BMW Z3 M coupes but this is much better!
I adore this car for the V12 and the unconventional style for form/function and 3 lady friends driving in the snow to my chalet to party like its 1999 all over again :)))
Damn was watching some dank memes when I got the notif. Yoooo wassup Sean! I think that’s his name. Tell him I said thanks for referencing halo in this vid with the Warthog So is every FF all wheel drive? Man the FF just has this timeless design, and that V12 is gorgeous. Amazing. Like the wheels. Can’t wait to hear the sound! Oof deers suck The trunk is very spacious for a Ferrari. I’m glad they added such a unique feature for their type of car. Lmao Sean hops in the trunk Oh man. That sound! Reminds me of the FF I was in on the autobahn. Loved that ride Oh my. That exhaust note is no joke. Ferrari V12s have always sounded better than lambo’s V12s I heard the FF has some understeer. Nice to know it’s agile regardless of its size The shift lights are cool on all of these. Hmm... strange malfunction. Very strange. That’s weird. Car is a bit aged. LOL HIS EXPLANATION There is a SHIT TON of leather in the FFs and I LOVE IT. That red leather looks cool, and they also have the yellow seatbelts as an option Resident race car driver I see. Oh my lord that sound is incredible. Love the passenger display. Yeah that thing is quick. I like the gearing in this one. The downshifts are a bit slow though, which is to be expected by a car made in 2014. 3.88 in that is not bad at all, same with the 1/4. It catches the R8, which does 0-60 in 3.1. That’s neat. It puts all power to the rear probably around 30-40 mph. Wow 150 in the 1/2 Tell Sean that I would race my Ferrari 😂 I’d love to see this track tested, BUT I understand it’s not designed for the track, and no owner will be pushing this on the track. Except me hahahaha Nice video. Your buddy Sean is really smart
I see you guys got started without me. The FF is a pretty interesting car. Some days I think I like it, other days it's weird looking. But the presence is undeniable. Although it does kind of look like a C7 Corvette in the front. We suspect the electrical problems to be because the car needed warmed up for the connections and wiring to function. Funny quirks of a Ferrari I guess. But you know what it's like to be in an FF since you rode in one too!
Track Day haha yeah we beat you to the comments section. You do know my TTRS always wins that comment race hahaha. It is indeed a very interesting car. It is practical in its own sense. What’s funny is the one I rode in, it was my friend’s father’s FF. He actually had another kid and sold his 458 for the FF lmao. Definitely a family car. It’s pretty amazing how good the V12s from Ferrari sound, especially When you compare them to Lamborghini’s latest iteration of the V12, which sounds like it was fabricated from a computer. Kinda sad if you ask me. The Murci was the glory days.
I would buy a FF in a heartbeat!!! It's one of my favorite Ferrari's of all time!!! Obviously a GTC-4Lusso would be better but these are still incredible. My BMW does same thing with headlights. It means the seal for one of the headlights is failing. the headlight needs to be baked in the oven at 110-120 and resealed.
The shoe design from Ferrari is 🔥 lots of hate and differing opinions but dude you should check out the GTC4 Lusso, that's the newer version of this car. Probably hard to find though, not many of them out there.
Great video, I miss seeing you Dan but great job by Shawn (Sean? We need to know how to write it). The car looks damn good and it sounds like an angry F1, that's the best comparison I can find.
Thanks Francois. Don't worry, I'm just taking a few weeks off like I mentioned in that one video. I'll bid holiday wishes next week and then I'm off for some time off with the family.
The 7-year maintenance program is rather a marketing gimmick. If you are a light user (of your Ferrari), you will be covered, but if you use yours as intended, you need to pay for some labour and parts and fluids. Been there, done that.
It's not acceptable to have electrical issues for 35 minutes in any car let alone a 250k one. I wouldn't be able to shrug that off as "well it's a Ferrari". But besides that, so damn beautiful.
If I could afford it, this would be absolutely the first 2-door car I'd take, no question... No other 2-door car would come close to this, in my book, because this actually looks and acts practical and would be a great daily driver... Wow. This is an excellent review guys. Thank you 👍🏻
I guess as long as it's a hatchback, Ferrari could call it practical? 😄 Great vids lately guys.

Fantastic review. Loved the quality/content.
This has opened my eyes to the FF. I usually looked the other way now I need to start saving up!
Sounds a little like an LFA.
Little like! LFA better.
Lexus, bring it back.
Don’t wait. Buy one now.
Americans are so obsessed with going fast in a straight line. Ferrari’s are built for sophisticated European roads with hairpins.

I’ve always loved the FF, but I too worry about maintenance. I wonder what the maintenance schedule prices look like
How are you able to get sound quality like this not even top gear or any car show I've seen got sound like that
I use a few different microphone sources, but I do dedicate one specifically for the exhaust note. I’ll make a video on how to do it soon.
