    What's up everyone😁✌
    This car is 100% experimental and it definitely does NOT look professional but I will get it set-up with better motors and escs eventually👍
    It's a bit of a beast already though🤪🤘

    Joining multiple esc into receiver does not multiple them from 6-12-18-24 unless you physically wire each pos to neg ie series. Having an adapter with 4 joined parallel will just be 6volts at the receiver so no need at all to worry about overvolt as no chance of that happening. Great vod.

    • @rccrazy
      @rccrazy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks!
      The main issue with the BEC in such basic electronics is that the voltage or more so the current is not always equal even on the same model escs.
      If there is a massive difference (probably 5% or more) that can cause all sorts of synchronising issues and unwanted resistance in the system.
      I would rather just remove a few wires than try and closely enough match 4 escs.
      Some companies do say its fine but I think you'll find their escs are very close to each others specs, and expensive😅

      @willpeeler8547 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was going to say this too. However you could do tank drive or torque vectoring if you program it right with 4 motor controllers.

      It can be done with a DumboRC radio but it would look more like it was drifting rather than steering, I don't want it to look like it's drifting.
      It's got no steering issues just bad escs.

      @@rccrazy best of luck with it mate I'm looking forward to seeing that, I'm "recycling" some 5s 2300kv race drone motors for use in my project.

    • @rccrazy
      @rccrazy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok cool, just be aware that many ESCs don't recognise 5s lipos and will start up as 6s and just hit low voltage really quickly.
      You can switch the ESCs to NiMh mode and run them if you keep an eye on the voltage, I don't think they have a low voltage cut-off in that mode.
      If you didn't already know that or are using 5s specific ESCs👍
      Oh and if yours is direct drive like mine I probably wouldn't run that high kv on 5s or even 4s, my 1000kv motor get hot on 3s😬

    • @rccrazy
      @rccrazy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All good👍
      The cogging I think is just from having only 35a ESCs, if it still coggs with 120a ESCs that will tell me the wheels are still to big (over geared)
      Running higher voltage will sometimes eliminate cogging aswell (less resistant I think and higher start-up punch) but obviously don't go over the recommended volts running direct drive like this unless the motors are like 300-500kv😅
