Sometimes simple is better. I call this playing with trains. No point in getting bogged down in a lot of paperwork or computer programs. Great little video for a Friday!
Your Layout is very cool ! In this moment i also build my little staging-segment, i call it "Fiddleyard"; for quick freight car preparation i use the rerailer from Kato..... Have fun! kind regards, Paul.
Conductor Torres - “Hey! We’re in California, was that an earthquake I just felt!?” Engineer Rick - “No. That was just the washer going into spin cycle.”
Here I am hoping you big lift two LOADED gondolas at Sanford. You know, some off-camera magic! Same with those lumber cars. It will help the immersion of reality
Rick, how long does it take to make up a good sized local, then go out and switch a few industries along the way, run around and switch a few more on the way back to the yard were the crew will set out the cars for the next hauler and then tie up the locomomotives for the weekend? Anyways I'm always looking forward to seeing your videos! Have a Great weekend Rick and fellow modelers.

Hey Rick, maybe you could create fold up/down benchwork for your staging area? Obviously you couldn't "store" cars on it but it could help during ops?

I usually take about half-hour
That was cool man! So some times you will roll the dice to pick the cars too?
Model trains and toilet paper. Two of life's essentials! 😉
Rick with a full house here in Marlboro, NY. we learn you never have enough toilet paper
Is there a layout plan I can access ? Layout dimensions including both outside aisle's ? Best estimate 12 X 20.
Thank you.
