Damn, that was a long gondola que at the beginning, and that was just the early bird skiers. I guess its just an aspect of a resort depending on the date you go. Wonderful.
Exactly, that was the queue at the 8:30 am opening... I've heard many people saying they waited 2 hours, so it definitely gets much longer... Once, I was stuck there for 1.5 hours... never again...
Our first ski holiday was the late 80's in Yugoslavia (as it was at that time) I think in Brezovica our airport was Pristina. We then went to Bulgaria for the next 2 years in early 90's, right outside Sofia... Vitosha maybe. I can remember seeing Sofia from the slopes. They were our most memorable trips with beautiful scenery, local food and lovely people. The cost was very appealing also. I reemember fondly we took a lift up the mountain did some runs had lunch and came back down to find the cable lying on the floor. "Maintenance" they said 😊. I apologise if I have mis remembered the ski resorts it was a fair while back now. ⛷🎿
It all sounds about right to me... I was born in what was Yugoslavia but we moved to Australia when I was very young (6 months old). Brezovica is next to Pristina and I have skied there the past few seasons... as for Vitosha, I'm not sure of the status of that resort... when it comes to maintenance, things certainly are different in the Balkans... Thanks for sharing! :-)
@@ChasingSnow Vitosha could be one of the best ski resort in Bulgaria, but unfortunately almost nothing is working now, used to have 2 gondola lifts and numerous chairliftss and drag lifts. Only two triple seaters work now, the owner of the resort is Technoalpin maybe changes for the better in the future.

@@M25Republic Thanks for letting me know... looks like both Brezovica and Vitosha are in desperate need of some investment...
Thanks for video. I was in Bansko 2023. Huge crowds on gondola. How much is bus for the top?
I got stuck once and didn't like the experience... people jumping the queue... it cost 15 Lev or about €7.70...
Thank you
60 euros for what??? For Bansko ski area?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There's less than 50 kilometers of slopes in the upper area 😂😂😂😂
The biggest problem is wasting time waiting in the gondola queue after buying the lift pass...
@@ChasingSnow Bansko is a trap. There is very easy to broke your legs due to collision. Many people gather to bleu slope.
