No backing tracks, no autotune. True professionals in their 70s.
Judith's sad passing on 6 Aug 22 was a tragedy for Australian music.

This is a platinum level group. Like fine wine, they just got better as time passed. To those of us alive when they first hit the scene, we were so fortunate to be there. They never lost their professionalism or their trademark clean sound and their concerts were continuous sell outs. Sadly, Judith has passed on. The three "boys" many times get overlooked because of Judith being lead singer, but they are also due high praise. Because their sound never changed, anyone can enjoy them as when they first came out, and that's a blessing to anyone who enjoys fine music.

What an amazing group. Not only do they sound the same as they did in the 1960s, they somehow all came out okay. None of them got into drug or alcohol abuse; instead, they all went on to have very different but successful solo careers. RIP Judith.

It's rare that a group can record a song without error, then perform it just as flawlessly 50 years later during a live concert. That was how extraordinary the Seekers were, four talented individuals who used the law of synergy to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts. For this Yank's money, they were the best there ever was, . . . . bar none.
In addition to Judith's magnificient voice, Keith was bending those twelve strings effortlessly, and I love the way Athol was really thunking that bass. Thunkity thunk thunk.

    ~FULL LYRICS ~
Close the door light the light
    We're stayin' home tonight
    Far away from the bustle
    and the bright city lights
    Let them all fade away
    just leave us alone
    And we'll live in
    a world of our own
We'll build a world of our own
that no one else can share
    All our sorrows we'll leave
    far behind us there
And I know you will find
    there'll be peace of mind
    When we live in
    a world of our own
Oh my love oh my love
I've cried for you so much
    Lonely nights without sleeping
while I longed for your touch
Now your lips can't erase the heartache I've known
    Come with me to
    a world of our own
We'll build a world of our own
that no one else can share
    All our sorrows we'll leave
    far behind us there
And I know you will find
    there'll be peace of mind
    When we live in
    a world of our own
We'll build a world of our own
that no one else can share
    All our sorrows we'll leave
    far behind us there
And I know you will find
    there'll be peace of mind
    When we live in
    a world of our own
And I know you will find
    there'll be peace of mind
    When we live in
