I’d say this blush shade in particular is only for fair shades, but the others are exceptionally beautiful which you may build up to your liking, I recommend cherry.
There’s just so many affordable blushes out there that do the same thing just as well .. plenty of buildable blushes in all shades of the rainbow or ones with more pigment that perform the same if not better lol drugstore blushes are top tier right now… it just is hard for a lot of ppl to drop $60 on a blush that performs the same as an $8 drugstore one!
@@jaydenisjaded hii sorry for the late reply. So I’ve tried all and I actually own 3 so im not fair but I am light. I’d say for you and I all colors would be good except mahogany. But really all the ones I have are diverse and great. Especially for fair to medium here are the ones I use- Cherry, coral, berry.
@@jaydenisjaded hope that helps and coral is wonderful! I’ve had mine for a year and still works so lovely, I can build it up and I’ve barely made a dent. Have a nice day!
@@blarmy827 I understand where you are coming from since I used to use drugstore and still do time to time! My best affordable recommendation(powder blush) is L’Oréal one! We all have certain ranges we are willing to spend on makeup and I am thankful everyday for what I can afford, and truthfully speaking the Dior one can be replaceable but not so easily because you are paying for the luxury formula and packaging. I truthfully know where you are coming from but for me it is just my second favorite powder blush of all time because it works for me best!
@@Lovelyasdfghjkl no I mean the old one looks rlly pale and chalky on the skin. The old one looks chalky in the pan I suppose, but looks a little more pigmented on the skin
I think maybe the “clean” formulation is just less pigmented in general! Either way, even tho im a super fair girly, Ive set my limit to paying maybe $25 for any blush!
Don’t do that. Use packaging tape. Lay a piece on the blush and it will remove thin layers. Repeat until it’s fresh again. Either your brush or your skin has a lot of oil on it and it’s transferring
Its a powder.. id use it until it was all gone, youve scraped off all the old tired faded layer, why couldnt you used the underneath layers, they should be fine!!
bro I have a like 7 year old elf blush pallete and it still works just fine. Maybe it's expired but that's just bad quality if it turns completely white
I got this for my birthday last year and I swear it’s a very pretty blush for fair skin tones, it’s definitely buildable. Does it worth its price tag? No, but if you want to treat yourself to a luxury blush then definitely go for it
I know the top layer is probably a little more loose Than the new one That would help the pigment probably but could actual pigment have settled closer to the bottom?
My mom is a teacher and this is how her pink chalk looks. Like it's so weird! I love buildable, lightly pigmented blushes but this won't work for me and I'm light skinned.
I do not get the hype on this blush. Chalky and little pigment.. the lack of pigment I actually don’t mind because I prefer products that are buildable but the chalky yuck of it all. I can’t.
I got this .. ngl out of the hype , I do like it , will I buy again? Mmmmm maybe idk . I’ve had bad times with blush, it’s always to much and I look like a clown 😂 so I actually really do agree with how light it is because I want to look a little rosy, like natural blushing of the cheeks, lowkey barley want people to register I have any on but just enough to notice a pink hue to my cheeks but yeah for 40$ meh idk 😅
@@Souls-at-zer0 lol. When I hear someone say… “this blush is SOO pigmented” I’m like.. that’s a no for me! So- I totally get it! 😂 I’m really starting to feel that way about a lot of makeup weirdly! Give me less pigment. More blendable, effortless buildable products. 😂
People who say the Dior blush is useless are dumb. In my opinion it’s a perfect shade, perfect consistency, and it’s clean. Not everyone is looking for a blush that turns you into a clown.
What does that tell you about the quality of what you are getting in the new formula of Dior for $40😂? That tells me that my old Revlon Red has way more pigment. And my old Revlon cream blush in One Perfect Coral is also better
40$ for such little pigment 😭
Ridiculous
Honestly that’s what I love about it. It never goes on harsh. It builds. It lasts all day.
I mean are you expecting rich women to look sunburnt or a little sun kissed?
that is the point.
@@renees8262But it is worth 40 dollars?...

the shade rosewood is gorgeous,, it works on a lot of skin tones as well
Rosewood was an all Black town tht was massacred by local white ppl. I won’t be wearing anything with tht name ❤
The drugstore blush game is stacked… you can find them in all the same colors for less than $10…. It’s tough to go for $60 blush in this blush era imo
Im pretty sure scraped or not the new one is lighter and more chalky than the old one. I think sofia sees beauty did a comparison a while back.
I was going to say the same thing. The new one looks less pigmented because it literally is.

i feel like dior is only for the lighest of light ladies
This shade REALLY needs to be built up, but they do have a few new shades that are better suited for deeper skin tones.
They have darker shades. This shade is for paler women. They have a shade cherry or mahogany that would be better for darker tones.

Having sensitive skin, are you not afraid of using expired makeup? It takes so long to get rid of a breakout.
