My advice would be, have integrity to do what's right and refuse to do what you feel is wrong, despite fellow officers or higher ranking officers. It's easier to find a new job than it is to face criminal charges. I wonder if you would do a podcast on that subject. How should a new or lesser rank officer respond in a situation where they are told to do something they know is wrong?
Dropping a comment as ordered sirs! My advice to new officers would be to learn from the veteran officers, not just your FTO. No substitution for experience, especially in this career field. Be humble, professional and keep your sense of humor. Really enjoy the podcast and the insight you guys always provide. Thank you
Love your guys' content! I'm in the middle of the hiring process for a police department in Canada right now and you guys are giving me a little extra motivation! Keep up the great work!
Dude I have been trying to work for the city I live in and I get a cal today that I’m actively going to get the job as a sheriffs deputy for my county!!!!!!
I love that you talked about spending time with the victim. Recently we had a couple of incidents, possibly the same robbers. (We're in South Africa). The first cops were very blasé. Rolled their eyes when I asked them to walk through the house to make sure it's safe. (I was alone at home, with my disabled 10yo. They were breaking things on the roof and for 10 minutes I truly believed they were breaking in through the roof to harm us. Husband at work). The cops left w/o even saying bye. I was a wreck for the next few days. Crying, hypervigilant. No faith in the cops. A few days later they came again. The cops and neighbours were here in an instant and because the neighbours chased them the cops were able to catch one. There were 6 in all! 2 on the roof, 4 down the street. The guy they caught had a machete. But the cop that came that time spent time with me and validated my emotions and actions. I had a LOT less trauma the 2nd time, because of him. Thanks for pointing it out. All we need, even if you don't catch them, is "ma'am, don't worry, call us, we got you."
Almost to the end of this video and so far I haven’t heard you address the mistakes in the last video. Even though your comment under the last video said that you would discuss it in this one. 🤔
Exactly. Just came across the channel by mistake while researching the incident in Alabama. They created a 20+ minute video that was wrought with errors and apparent biases. They said that they would address it in the next video and that was three weeks ago. It’s not that hard to see the writing on the walls with these guys. I think we know what they’re really about. Smh

He did NOT just say that minimum wage is high and he is all for it. You are kidding me. This day and age raising a family on minimum wage is INSANE. It’s not even close to enough to make a living. I see it everyday with new hires at my job people are suffering badly

Wait, a Molly holder? Didn’t know there was a police approved Molly holder. The next daft punk laser show I go to is gonna be lit!
So you two goofballs lied about the situation involving the black guy tased by the female white cop interesting

@@shotsfiredpodcast50 Shot you guys an email, thank you.
In all fairness you hate wearing ugly Christmas sweaters, so I got you a fairly neutral one just to get you to wear it when I need you to 😂
More of Billy please!
Sorry Mark, I heard 'slept' too... Kinda wished no one would notice and just answer the question! 😁
