Some of us have gotten into ugly fights with massive bouncers, and I mean like swinging for the fences trying to knock the bouncer out with every punch.
Those are carbon fiber rims. Easily broke and when they go they go in a catastrophic way. The officer has never seen anything like that because there are few cars with things like that. These are as expensive as a very high end used car.

I remember drinking one night and waking up in my car parked on the side of the highway about an hour away from where I was to a cop telling me to get out. I had the worst hangover and I had absolutely no idea how I got out there, it was scary. Luckily, I was sitting in my passenger seat with the keys in my pocket so the cop had no way of proving I was driving, so I was charged with public intoxication instead of a DUI. It's about freedom, not about having someone else drive them. They want to be free to do it themselves. Especially with a car like that. Typically if you stole the car they assume you're not the owner, if you don't know you're name they can't verify if you're the owner. He's trying to get booked as a John Smith and play hardball so he can go to court and plead plausible deniability due to information not present at the scene. I'm not sure the first female officer that found him should be working with the police. All she did was ask Lynch questions and run and tell the male officers what he said and they ultimately took care of it. And how many times did she mention the rims on that car??? I don't know, maybe she's new and they were letting her learn the ropes. The one guy even asked her if she ran the VIN and she said 'no'. He ended up doing it. What she did was watch him sleep until her rescuers arrived. Of course she needed backup but they weren't just backup. Once they showed up she wasn't even needed. And then there was the little dance that she did at the end of the video. Surely she doesn't think she has anything to do with the successful outcome.
