Thanks Terry!!!!!!! Hopefully I can make it next time. Looks like i missed a good hunt. Can't believe all them old copper coins! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
That is some cool finds. What would be even cooler is if you done some research on that class ring and found out if was someone involved in WWII or anything like that.
Being 1917 they could have even served in ww1 in 1918. But ww2 more possible. I have tried to figure some history on it. So far nothing. I can't even really figure out what them letters are on it. Thanks for watching
My reply disappeared! Initials o ring are CVN. Look for any makers mark. It’s an old ring. Plus the seated dime with old date! Great finds as usual! Congrats!
@@darbysdownhomedetecting hi Shane. Thanks man. I was just out your way last week driving through to visit family in Indiana. Wheeling tunnel was still closed.
It's really a great find. Just knowing the ring was 1917. Lead, brass, pewter, silver, or gold. You've found someone's history. Kinda thing that can bring goose bumps. Thanks as always for sharing another good one.
Nice finds. You need to go there often as those mounds will be levelled out once the foundations are in. I would just ask if you can detect evenings and weekends. Take the site foreman a case of beer for Christmas.
@@AndrexT thanks. That's exactly what I did. Lol. Maybe getting back Sunday. I checked yesterday and they did level it. But still areas up in the woods thr hasn't even been hit yet. 0i suspect the civil war camp went up unto the woods. Time will tell. Have a great weekend.
@@gr8finds196 Great News, I look forward to the videos. Have a great weekend, we are in the midst of snow and ice up here in the Great White North of Canada. All my gear is away indoors for the winter.
Those pieces were an amazing finds. I wonder what else could be there that hasn't been found🤔. The end of this video you remind me of chigg how he does his partial laugh😁
Mike, the 1917 ring was the most awesome find ever! What an awesome piece and I hope you will be able to research its back ground. If you could get permission to dig in there, bring Chiggs there and other metal detecting friends and pound it. Hopefully the developer would let you with the civil war history there. I was so excited for you also finding the seated dime. Congratulations.👏👏👍😀
MAN!! I's a good thing you found that site Mike or else everything would have been forever lost! It's frustrating & heartbreaking to think about everything being buried under progress! I'm happy you were able to rescue a few items though.
Thanks. Yes, I drove by a few days ago and seen they moved more soil. Might get back there this weekend. After some research 21,000 confederate civil war soldiers camped there up the hill. Explains all the camp lead pieces.
I wish also. No way to know. Being over a hundred years old its very unlikely. There was a general store here from the 1830s until 1935. Could have been anyone. Thanks Zekes girl!!
When I saw the thumbnail photo, I thought to myself, "He looks quite familiar." Sorry if it's been said before but to me it looks like you could be a twin with Kevin James. 😆
Thanks for watching. Sorry for the poor video quality. I didn't have my gopro camera and used my cell phone. Everyone have a nice evening.
Never be sorry for quality of video. It’s fine. It’s the info, not the quality. 💪🏼
All good man.

Thanks bells😊
Amazing how many construction sites (especially these years) are unknowingly -- or carelessly -- unearthing history with little to no care.
Yes it happens a lot. I can't believe what they have Pushed here. And this is just one small site. Imagine all the lost stuff across all the sites
@@gr8finds196 I'm torn because on one hand they help unearth relics, but on the flip side the relics are never to be found in the future.
Nice finds indeed! 👍
