It drives me crazy watching channels grow by 300 subs per day, but only get 50 views on their videos and then they go on livestreams and try to give people advice on how to grow their channel like they are some sort of hot shot expert! I can’t stand liars.

lots of fakers on utube! Guys like me who have been in the hobby 30 years can tell using a finds ratio but new people dont know! I never pushed the videos people watch my videos because I list hot areas of beach erosion! The bright side is there is so many now they will eventually drown themselves out! happy holidays to your family and yourself! Although im not a fan of Garrett metal detectors mainly because im a beach hunter and Minelab rules the saltwater beaches! good luck in 2025
Thank you for all of the info -- I watch about a dozen metal-detecting channels, I *THINK* that they are all legit! One question -- how does TH-cam know the age of the viewers -- to track them into age-groups -- which definitely would matter to the advertisers.
@@TheDiggingCreator -- So that info is not 100% accurate (age, location, gender) since much of that is 'subjective' (the account holder can enter whatever they want) -- which would skew the advertising earnings based on those demographics. Whew -- a lot to think about and take into consideration! Running a monetized YT channel is a fulltime job!!!
Dude, I get you’re trying to promote your channel and stuff but the problem with it is you only got 30 subscribers? You haven’t even met the criteria for monetization yet you have to have at least 1000 subscribers to even get ad revenue. Just saying. Glory to GOD!

That's a good question -- if the creator (and TH-cam) loses the ad revenue, I would hope that TH-cam divides up the subscription money to the channels watched by YT paid subscribers....

Same to you! The Vortex is definitely much better on the beach than previous detectors so I’m hoping it’ll be a needle mover.

It’s all based off of the info entered through your email account attached to your TH-cam.

We get a very small percentage of the TH-cam premium revenue as well. There is a separate earnings tab showing the Premium revenue.
