i have a question if you used sandpaper to smooth out some of the internal plastic do you think you'd be able to internalise the battery? because it looks like it could be possible with the space provided underneath the feeding wheel for the ammo belt?
Yes. I'm planning to include that in a future video. it's tricky because every battery is different. I was going to us a dremel to cut a slot the battery will slide into. The other option is to replace the ammo box and put the battery in there.
So I changed the spring on the vulcan I have and it fits and operates fine except for the fact that when I cock it back, the firing mechanism keeps un-priming like after you fire it without me even touching the trigger. What do I do? Also ontop of that, the automatic option will activate but nothing happens. Is it the spring?
I'm planning a spring upgrade video. I believe a key part of the spring upgrade is using higher voltage almost exclusively to run it because you have to overcome spring pressure that it isn't built for.
I see. That makes sense. My concern with amping up the voltage is burning out the old motor which I need to swap out for a brushless one. This Vulcan suffered some bad corrosion after being forgotten out in the rain before I obtained it and had someone it clean and mostly fix it up. The old spring was too corroded so I had someone replace it with a newer one which appears to be weaker than the original because the bullets don't travel as far as it did when it was in its best condition. Is it also possible that the current spring I installed recently is too strong for the gun to handle and that's why it won't stay primed?
@@arsenalx2050 If you're having speed or power issues with the motor I would try removing the green board on the back of the motor as shown in this video. I wouldn't go down the road to replace the motor until the existing one burns out, which has never happened to me, but the board does burn out.
@@BigRedButtonBuilder Ok. I can do that. will I have to worry about overheating issues with the motor using just a normal battery pack? I don't have a drill battery available just yet.
I wouldn't worry about over heating. The blaster in the super long chain video has slots cut in the plastic over the motor so it can get a little fresh air but I don't think its an issue.
Was going to include that in a future video. If you are replacing the ammo box with a larger one you can put it in there. Otherwise, cut the battery bay so you can slide your battery into it.

Thank you. It's great to see you finally made the tutorial.
Glad you like it. I'm going to make a lot better, more complicated stuff using these basics.
I’m so happy that he started doing mod videos again.
I did this today because i got the Vulcan for $4.99 at goodwill. Thanks for tutorial :)
That's awesome. More Vulcan videos coming soon.
Be careful you might burn the mottor
@@smashedfiend020I’ve heard it can take up to 4s, it’ll be fine!
Just done this mod and it works awesome 😁👍🏻 thank you good sir
Does this hurt the motor
Muito Obrigado Pela Excelente ideia

How do you set up the new trigger?
True classic.
Could you put a stronger spring in it to give a better performance
Looking into it. Its hard to find parts right now.
Update: I have the spring and am planning a video for that upgrade
Cool

Where do you put the battery? Or am I going to have to externally attach it?

@@BigRedButtonBuilder ok thanks, great video by the way
Does the gun heatup or damage with the upgrade?
Not in my experience. You can cut slits into the frame over the motor so it gets some fresh air.
Just awesome!!)
Does this work with other guns?
It should but it might be a little different with magazines. What gun do you have in mind? I've been thinking about doing a video on that.
Omg this worked
shows soldering tip for torch... who needs it right. lol.
How to turn a vulcan into a war veteran ptsd induceing machine, nice
So the real ? Here is how much for a ready 1
30 volts is 3 times faster fire rate

hi i got this gun my boss gave it to me but the ammo box and ammo belts are missing how can i found them (in turkey or internet)
belt should be on Ebay. use any old plastic box or surplus cloth bag for the box.
