I agree, I love grabbing them any chance I get hehehe. I feel that the Vulcan is much more memorable than most of the blasters which came out in the last 5 years or so!
I recently bought a Vulcan. I'm too nervous to dare disassembling it, because a) it looks so complicated and b) if I mess it up, spare parts are basically unobtanium in Europe But one day, I will mod it. And this video will be my guiding light.
I got one at goodwill and the clip was not advancing at all. Watched the whole video, disassembled and reassembled, fixed a part, got a new spring, and it works perfectly! Thank you Captain Xavier!!
Wow, thank you! I disassembled one 3 months or so ago and was hesitant putting it back together since there was no clear video on TH-cam. Decided to challenge myself today and searched for a disassembling video and BAM. Your video came up. It went very smoothly, and the vulcan is operational.
The Vulcan is my favorite blaster after all the years of my nerf hobby.the way how I got such a rare blaster was before I knew the Vulcan existed,in my neighborhood nerf group, there were three of us.We saw on of the soldiers friends who were giving away nerf guns for free, those guns were a broken baseball launcher,a vortex launcher with drum mag and no ammo, and the broken Vulcan which didn’t come with a belt or a belt holder,my stepbrother, another soldier of the group said that he wanted it,this was before I was the nerf heavy of the group.I snatched the thing off the ground before he could grab it and I said dibs he fought for it but then he gave up.I remembered when I got it that the belt it used I grabbed a belt for it before I got the blaster somehow.Turn out it was not working with batteries so I took it to my dads house a year later, and we fixed it but it was jamming,I still have not fixed it but with my nerf reviews I wear the belt around my neck to show I love the Vulcan the most.
I heard hasbro torture tested those things for a half million cycles, or more during development. The wimpy spring plenty good for throwing darts into a set of flywheels.😊
I NEEDED this video! My Vulcan has been broken since I was a child and I've been scared to bust it open to try and fix it. My Vulcan shall fire again! (Hopefully 😅)
I got one at a thrift store for $3. No tripod, corrosion in the battery door, one of the dark thingies on the Belt was missing some plastic and I used E6000 premium to glue. The belt feeder doesn't work and I'm hoping I can fix it. I also have it tested if it fires but I will do that in a few minutes.
I don't think this is you have one done but you have done the longshot so you should do the longshot front gun or whatever you want to call the barrel attachment despite how unpractical it is
Have the reassembly videos ever had Carmina Burana in the beginning? I’ve seen more of your content, and notice the lack of the fun song more readily, I guess.
Hey bud i just got one of these badboys given to me yesterday it shoots great but it hangs up sometimes im gussing stripped feeding gears.?....any fixes outside of 3d printing?
@@CaptainXavier dang id really like to see this thang at its glory....I got one of the rhinos for free a month or so ago got it working! Now I want to get this one goin and have a badass game of capture the flag. Use both of those as base guns
To quote Sergent Apone: "Well, I don't know, is there anything you can do?" What have you tried? What skills and tools do you have? What research have you done? I have a whole series called Nerf Diagnistic and Repair, have you watched it to see if the answers are there? But I would start by checking there batteries, then check the battery housing for corrosion. Barring that, o open it up and check there internals one component at a time.
Both of those are internally very similar to the Kronos or the Takedown. Both of which I have already done. Watch those videos and you should be able to figure it out.
Looking at pics of the internals online (google "hypnos internals"), it looks like an Artemis that takes mags. The geared prime looks very similar to the Artemis. I have that video already, too. Give that one a look. I can add the Hypnos to the survey for which blaster I do next, but I can not promise it will win. And even if it does, that would be at least 2 months away.
@@CaptainXavierthere’s a inconsistency with the Hypnos and in mine as well. Sometimes the rounds will barely come out when fired. Like 3ft. Other times, it works well.
one of the only large blasters I have is a Vulcan (well... "Havok Fire" because for some reason Hasbro changed the name for us in the UK?) and I've been casually considering modding it for no other reason than to shoot my girlfriend with it at random times and without warning whilst quoting TF2's Heavy
This video is very helpful thank you-do you have any idea how to reassemble the power switch? I took mine apart (stupidly) assuming you would cover the reassembly in your video but it looks like you left yours on. Also I noticed the plastic part of your switch stays secured the whole time but when I go to put it back on its loose. it sucks cause I cant find any literature about it online ..
Ah, the Vulcan. Still one of the coolest blasters Hasbro has ever made.
I really appreciate this video, super helpful.

Vulcan is such a sick blaster, Hasbro needs another version of it in some form, the shell alone is just *mwah* perfect
I mean you could mod an infinite to use the chain inside the mag
I super appreciate all the effort you put into these complex blaster walkthroughs!!
ITS HERE AND ITS WONDERFUL!! Thank you Capt!

13:10 i found that levering up between the carry handle and the shell pops those clips easily
Holy Crap this is an amazing video!! Well Done, Sir!
Always wished someone made an all aluminum gearbox with a stronger spring and better motors and batteries for the vulcan.
i was confused on how the electronic spring mechanism worked before but i found out a while ago from your video on the stampede
YESSSSSSSSSS! These are such great additions for the community to have

Wish I had this video 6 months ago when I was disassembling a Vulcan for repair. Had to fumble with it to get it disassembled
I personally watch these for fun and this has to be my favourite

I needed this a few years ago
Thanks!!! Will definitely be using this when I upgrade my clear version. Was wondering if you could do a Raider CS-35 assembly guide.
Probably not the Raider. The Rampage maybe.
@@CaptainXavier I’m aware some of the internals are different but things like the trigger bar and assembly are the same right?
@tibblesz5003 Basically, the only difference is the plunger and plunger tube, and even they are very similar.
@@CaptainXavier Cool, would definitely love to see either blaster get an assembly vid. Thanks for the reply!
The craziest thing is I found one of these add a thrift store and it still works I did some research and it's supposed to be very rare
I've never found the amo can years of thrifting many vulcans but no box.
Same. The only one I have is from the one I found new in box.

Will there ever be a Hypnos reassembly I’ve been fighting for that reassembly I’ve had a taken apart Hypnos for years
@smaugsportfolio8199 there will be if it ever gets enough requests to make the survey and then gets the most votes. That's how it works.
@@CaptainXavier sigh
Wow this is a very complex blaster
Please do a reassembly for the nerf rival Hypnos or sideswipe
