I honestly mean this from the bottom of my heart, i was so excited too see you guys live and made sure i was there at the barrier for it and you did not disappoint at all. So fucking good and i can't wait too catch you on tour when your over here in the UK again
I'd really LOVE a behind-the-scenes on this even if it's just you chatting about what you did from cameras to audio source and syncing cameras sound etc. BTW I prefer performance videos like this over most music videos.
@@ErikGrimms I've done smaller venue shoots and there's a board feed or even an after-concert mix. Ever listen to a good live album? They aren't studio recordings. When I've done this I take a wireless board feed into one camera if possible. I get a live mixed recording after the performance. I sync sound to camera audio guide tracks in post. There are a number of ways to do this depending on the budget, gear, and time and I'm curious to know how they're doing it.
I have listened to a lot of good live performances yes, but for this one specifically note that jayant has layered vocals for parts, that's not do-able live while singing, that's only possible when tracking in the studio@@seecraig also, didn't know they played with tracks but I haven't seen bloodywood live so who am I to say if they do or not but IF this is from a live recording then the vocals are mimed and playback.
@@ErikGrimms I'd be surprised (and disappointed) if this were a lipsync performance. There certainly may have been additional overdubbing and enhancing of the tracks in the post. All the more reason why I'd like to see a BTS on this. One could video edit to the live performance and do a layback of a final mix as long as the sync doesn't change.. BTW this is why I said I prefer live to music videos. Lip sync raises my hackles. It's not that I dislike all music videos but I'd rather tell a story or visual art than lipsync lyrics which has become pervasive.
This is what I was talking about

you do realize this is studio audio right? as in what's on the album or the music video here on YT, it's not audio from this live performance.
