- U.S.A. MAY 2023 TICKETS: www.bloodywood.net/tour
Originally created for the upcoming Ubisoft game "Beyond Good and Evil 2", Machi Bhasad is a track with a political message that celebrates the power of a new generation and its potential to be better than the last.
Outside the context of the game, this song is intended as both a tribute and a call to action. It's a tribute to musicians and leaders who inspired people like ourselves to think and act in a way that'll benefit everyone. To question an unjust system that serves a few at the cost of the many. It's a call to action for our generation to finish the work started by all those who came before us. To Become the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back, and change the world for the better.

Raj Against the Machine Im dying thats the best name ever
Thought the same. Nice one :'D
Absolutely! Right now I'm really hyped for that tour, it's like a dream has come true ;D
Actually 'Raj' means Rule in hindi. So its actually a cooler name than it seems.
@@JUSTIN3404 ahh, ty :)
Raj is a play on the word. Sounds similar to rage and also Raj means 'rule' in Hindi.
The guy who speaks his mother's tongue and wears traditional clothing is more heavy metal than anyone else.
I'm in love with that guy
I 1000000% agree! That's Metal
I told you niggaz once already that dude that raps in your videos is ruining your shit. Maybe if he rapped in hindi this shit would sound a lot better idk whenever he raps in english is super bad and cringy as fuck.
Either lose him or have him rap in hindi because his english rapping is bad. It would sound a lot better in his native tongue.
chandra paul dat you crazy...
@@rits100 I don't listen to much hip hop but he does meet up with my standards. You're being way to harsh, I've heard much worse and cringier when it comes to rapping.
Epic song! Amazing to see Indian culture in heavy metal. Keep rocking 🤘
I was just translating the chorus for a reel of mine. Translation is an art in helping the other person understand something in their own language, so the band's version is correct. But if you're interested in a more literal translation:
"Expect chaos! x2
Expect chaos in your street.
We’re going to dig you a grave.
My patience has run out."
Hey Karl! Nice to see you here.

@@user-wo2od9lz4v Funny enough, we have the same proverb in Arabic as yours!
how about we make it a festival? an international tour of united metal music, call it the "Alloy Fest" (as an alloy is a mixture of different metals that make a stronger substance). have those bands listed and many others, and yeah, not everyone will like all the bands, but that's why to have 3 stages and all the bands be diverse enough so even if people aren't a huge fan they can still appreciate. My thoughts for musicians to add to those already listed would be Babymetal, Heilung, Igorrr, Ihsahn, Rammstein, Behemoth, Belzebubs (yes I know they are from a comics but still awesome), Yousei Teikoku, Ministry, Infected Mushroom (maybe more trance than metal now but idk it would add to variety and nationalities), Cradle of Filth, Metallica, GWAR, Gojira, Sepultura, Krisiun, Rob Zombie, Leaves' Eyes, Devin Townsend, BAAL (the Japanese or Danish group, or hells both, heh) , Meshuggah, judas Priest, Static X, Megadeth, Godflesh, Fear Factory, Therapy?, and many many many many other possibilities that I didn't name or aren't familiar with yet (always open to hear more though). I know it would be pretty much impossible to even get likely a third of those bands listed, for various reasons, but it was just a rough draft to start with and to show the diverse type of line-up that could be possible with such a show. All of the bands don't have to be our favorites, and some might even annoy us or make some people go "blahblahblah they aren't metal blahblahblah more metal than thou" but that's unavoidable. as long as they are heavy and have a great sound and even decent following then it would be good to bring more people in contact with different metal than they might hear otherwise, as well as it would be an awesome display of unity which is definitely needed in this current age of people being separated and divided against each other. also usually for weekend fests many of the bands are lesser known acts so that would be good to give them exposure, and really, the tour likely might not make much profit, but doing a world tour at least one year would be more than worth the investment. As I said also, Other suggestions are great and the more this gets thought and/or talked about the more it might happen, just from spreading the idea from one person to another. CHEERS!!! \m\ -.- /m/
Yes to this, also with Raza Truncka from Argentina! 😊
I definitely agree with that
Bloodywood is one of the most original bands I've seen in my entire life. I'm 37, metalhead and headbanger since I was 10, I know bands from every fucking hole in this damn world and... well, the're Indian guys playing a good folk heavy metal with a rap/hip-hop vocal that resembles Rage Against The Machine style.
But these guys aren't just a folk metal band. Their music has melody, has style, has identity, has soul... and they have the coolest outfits, they simply mix traditional Indian fashion with heavy metal elements... ru dafuq do it? Yeah, Bloodywood!

No camels were harmed in the making of this video 😏
But a metaphor was used. The line is based on the proverb "it's the last straw that breaks the camel's back". The idea behind it is that it's only one more piece of straw, but because of all the other pieces underneath it, it becomes the one to break the back. So in the song when we say "remember those who raged before, we're the last straw" and "become the generation to break the camel's back", what we mean is all the people who've come before us who fought to make the world a better place have been increasing the pressure, generation after generation, that if our generation works as hard as them, if not harder, we can be the ones to break the system and rebuild a better one. Let's make it happen ✊🏼❤️
