Unfortunately, but not unexpectedly; Sakurai has stated there will not be another Kid Icarus game as he doesn't like making sequels. (To those unaware, Sakurai is the developer and director for the game and of his company, Sora Ltd.)
Thanks for sharing that insight! It’s definitely disappointing, but I respect Sakurai’s approach to creating unique experiences. While it’s sad we may not see another Kid Icarus game from him, it’s amazing how Uprising still stands out as a masterpiece even today. Who knows maybe another team will take up the mantle someday!

Pit is Basically Sora(Kingdom Hearts) Young optimistic, funny wants to protect people the same way that Sora does! Palutena is all around Funny Goddess same with Viridni! Hade funny and Medusa return is Epic! Their a lot fourth wall breaking and References to other Nintendo properties
I totally see the similarities between Pit and Sora! Their optimism and humor really do shine through. The fourth wall breaks and references make the game even more enjoyable!
