Uprising is a masterpiece. The music, the writing (albeit, it's more in line with classic Saturday morning cartoons), the characters... Also, Hades is by far the best Nintendo villain. The fact that he joked about running a child's parents over because he was distracted messing with his hair had me cracking up. And because he felt sorry for the child, he brought them back to life. As zombies.

Then I discovered gaming on TH-cam, learn more about the actual industry, made friends and realized it was more than just something to do for fun. Gaming was more than that initially realize as a kid, once I was back into it in my teens there was no stopping.

I think it's good that Brawl was able to do that for you - including him as a playable character seemed to make no sense considering the lack of games, but it looks like he did his job. I first found out about the series when I was very young; my aunt had an NES with some Christian games and, well, must have thought Kid Icarus was a Christian one because of the angel on the cover, haha.
Metroid already had a manga, Mario a series of anime movies in late 80s-early 90s, Zelda also had mangas, F-ZERO an anime, and Kirby already had a sub-par anime. Along with Arms and Splatoon. They also had mangas. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!
The best part about a Kid Icarus anime is that they can go in both comedic and dramatic tone directions, as it has full potential in either. I'm honestly baffled how it's still not a thing.

Uprising was the first game I was actually extremely excited for in a long time, the delays made the wait actual hell but by god when it came out I couldn't have been happier. Sakurai did such an amazing job on the series so I can kind of see why he wouldn't want to touch it again but we can all hope!

Palutena doesn't treat Pit like a son. Their relationship is basically similar to Peach and Toad, where in this case Toad is a lot more competent at his job and Peach likes to troll him a lot. In the English dub there is no romantic undertones
i beg to differ, i get the impression by the way palutenea treats pit ln the game examples would be like when pit is getting flattered by phosphora flirting and palutenea comments that he is easily embarassed, or when hades ask the reason on why pit can't fly and palutenea calmly says why, not noticing pit protesting, to me palutenea seems like the kind of mother who shows your baby's photos to your former bullies, she also seems to care deeply for his well being shown by how often she is being seen sending him food, and by the way she often jokes with him, (again this is yet another divergences in the versions in the jap ver she is a lot more kinder and is much less propense to troll him) she is always right there for him, actively trying to support him, even when her assistance gets him more in trouble than helps him

That's who modern Palutena is. You don't have to be a mother figure to embarrass someone you are that you care about that's close to you. Friends can do that with one another. Paluetena being a goddess means she has to show a lot of concern for her army since she's also considerate of the other Centurions as well

Uprising was the first game I was actually extremely excited for in a long time, the delays made the wait actual hell but by god when it came out I couldn't have been happier. Sakurai did such an amazing job on the series so I can kind of see why he wouldn't want to touch it again but we can all hope!
