Great to hear you are sorting it with the exercises etc - and being sensible cutting your mileage and pace down until you have recovered -- If the Marathon doesn't happen in December for you - A good and steady build up to a Spring one - Keep smiling - from the man who has had a 1,000 injuries and living with Arthritis !!!

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Having been there with Achilles issue about 15 months ago, I immediately got it treated and went to to rehab and came back fitter & stronger winning a GB Masters Gold medal. You will be great when you back to full swing! As a side note, why do so many runners think they know more than professional physios or podiatrists?

I’ll be at Darfield next week 👍 Don’t forget the protein.

If you have Achilles tendinopathy then your physio should have recommended the Alfredson protocol.

Injuries suck. Unfortunately, they are a part of competitive running. Injured my left calf 4 weeks ago (at the end of a race). Started back too soon (after a few days). Did some online research & found this. I am finding it very useful. You might too. Cheers. th-cam.com/video/Nuxd36P-Z8w/w-d-xo.html
