Revelation 21 verse 24 says that the kings of the Earth will be able to enter the gates of new Jerusalem Anytime because the gates will never be shut. That makes me think that people will be on earth and in new Jerusalem and be able to travel back-and-forth?
It also says that there will be no more seas? I don’t know if that’s a representation of something or if there will literally be no ocean? if that’s the case I guess they’ll be plenty of room for a big city :-)

My question is if we’re on earth for 1000 years and then it gets burned up I’m not connecting the dots. I thought Christ came to the clouds rapture all his saints, and we live in heaven for 1000 years and when he came back to get us. That’s when second Peter says the Earth, and all the elements were burnt up, he makes a new heaven and new earth and we come down with him in the new Jerusalem. I still want to understand this in my studies I thought Jesus never came back to this earth because it was polluted. That’s why he only came to the clouds.
