- Through the years, I have observed that most people (even Christians) have ideas about what heaven will be like that are vastly different from how Scripture describes heaven. In this series, we have followed the chronological flow of the book of Revelation from the rapture through the tribulation, from the second coming to the millennial kingdom. We turn now to what the Bible describes as the final phase of heaven-the eternal state.

Good Afternoon skip you are a breath of fresh air, I live in England and it so hard to find good sound teaching , Which breaks my heart, As I'm so hungry to feed on the the true word of GOD , But I find it so hard to find very little Christian who wants to follow the truth in the the sermon on the mount , Because I believe in that with my whole heart, As I believe that I was crucified with christ, and its no longer whole lives but christ lives in me , I have tryed to walk my life in christ in everything I do , For in the Lords prayer that JESUS gave to us to follow in his foot steps , In thy kingdom come and thy will be done , And not our will , As the LORD JESUS Must have all of us in everything , And not a part , But they think I'm religious and I should relax and go with flow , I believe that we should come to our FATHER with Awe of HIM and with reverence to a GOD OUR FATHER who we are in love with,

Heaven will be fantastic, but I admit, I will miss the earth. I often daydream about how cool it would be if Heaven was a perfect version of earth. No pollution, no crime, no death, illness, you can’t get hurt and so on. There is so much in this world that I will never see. I would love to be able to time travel, see my hometown as it was when I was a kid, as it was when my parents were kids and so on. Heaven is just beyond what I can comprehend. I bet it will be fun!

Hey Pastor Skip , No more sea but i just wonder how beautiful is what God is going to replace for a sea.
If you listen to the previous studies on Revelation, "the sea" is used as a metaphor for the unsaved masses of humanity. The beast came out of the Sea...
There are 2 schools of thought where it is John's way of saying there is no unsaved in Heaven and on the New Earth.
And others think it is a literal change from John to mean No Large Bodies of Water.
I side with the camp that thinks that John uses it as a metaphor for unsaved humanity all along, why would he suddenly change to mean a physical body of water?
We will have to see!

I'm a old Oklahoma Oilie from the patch when we only made 7.00 an hour every 2 weeks meet many like brother howitzer. God love you brother but I do enjoy your preachin
I know that this was from years ago but I wanted to Thank Skip for thinking of & praying for those in chronic pain. I've suffered from severe pain for 12 years & we are the forgotten ones & the govt has our drs & society seeing us in pain as drug addicts when it's not like that at all. Those in pain 24/7 are treated like addicts by drs even though we have medical verification for the pain & we're treated very poorly for something we have no control over. One dr ignored what my pain was from & stated that anyone who can't handle the pain without opioids can find a very tall bridge & good riddance. Addicts have become the group to totally sympathize with & in fact they are treated so much better than a person in pain. During the lockdowns they were given illicit drugs by the govt while those in pain were given no help. Living with undertreated & untreated pain 24/7 causes depression especially when you know that there is a way to relieve it but are told you can't have it. It's a struggle & every day you think about suicide knowing there may come a day when you just can't take anymore. I think about heaven every day & it's only through Jesus & the grace He gives that I make it through sometimes second by second. Our God is Holy, Mighty& True. May His name be praised forever.
May God continue to carry you through your tough ordeal. I had unending 24x7 pain until a combination of therapies got me out and healed me.
But know that I can empathize where you and many are who have chronic pain. May you find the answer for your body, and until then May Abba continue to carry you through your trial.

@@AR15andGOD Yes it was. Illicit drugs bring in lots of money to our economy in many ways which is likely why our govt takes their concern & war on drugs so lightly. . Pain patients like myself only cost money so they've decided that we're expendable & take away our meds. With them I am functional. Without, definitely not. Sometimes I wish they would just give us a quick death instead slow, painful ones. There will always be addicts unfortunately & our govt is happy to keep them addicted. God sees though & repay He will.

People are so wrapped up in the elections voting for the guy who they think is going to make things good. None will, They can't even if they wanted to. I put my trust and heart in the one who can and will. Jesus Christ. I pray others will also.
Not as many people as you think. Our problem is a sin/disobedient & spiritual problem. Until we repent and turn wholeheartedly to JESUS, we will eventually destroy ourselves. If you would like to, Mr. Heitzig, you can add the tidbit of information to your wonderful sermon about the protein in all our cells throughout all our bodies that functions to hold all our cells together......called laminin. And a picture of the laminin protein will blow your mind.

I also think we’re going to be able to travel up and down, too. I think we might be able to go back and forth between Heaven and Earth in the Millennial Kingdom. Of course, no one really knows yet.

“No more sea”… could mean in relation to Jerusalem there is no more Dead Sea or no more Sea of Galilee. Not necessarily the oceans.

Pastor Skip, is there such a thing as "Left Behind"? you did not touch upon this in your Revelation series. I worry about my loved ones who have walked away from faith. Show me scriptures about this, Please.
I’m not Skip but yes, unfortunately there is. Anyone who hasn’t gotten saved by believing on Jesus’ blood by the time the Rapture comes will literally be Left Behind.
The water does exit in the southern hemisphere opposite to the northern (ie south of the equator it turns clockwise while going down the plug hole)
But he said the TOILET not the sink drain. The water comes out on an angle in the toilet bowl, so you will not see the true coriolis effect.
@@kateford8649 both are relevant and do the same. i have seen this with my own eyes (I have been to both hemispheres and I live in the southern hemisphere)

Jesus said call no one your teacher (insert pastor, preacher, rabbi, etc) for he said "I am your teacher" and when he said "it is finished" on the cross, he meant now EVERYTHING has revealed its estrangement from God in that religion itself had a hand in putting him to death. NOW we all return to a one on one with our Creator through Jesus (Yeshua, Esho) and the Gospel is conveyed to the world One on One as the Holy Spirit moves individuals to share individually. The divisions of doctrine no longer have God's support. We are one people in Jesus Christ. Supporting the religious division of the present age is lending support to a multitude of error and confusion. Jesus told us men would come claiming that Jesus IS who He claimed to be, yet they would nevertheless go on to confuse them. This is because the cross brought us back into the relationship we had with God before we were banished from paradise. When we walked and spoke with Him one on one. Stop seeking out teachers other than Jesus. Teachers.... stop perpetuating and supporting the spirit of Babylon, the religious spirit. Come out my people.... so Jesus told us.
Going to church is great. Iron sharpens iron one man sharpens another. Jesus is our teacher doesn’t mean we can’t sharpen each other and correct each other and TEACH each other the word through Jesus and Holy Spirit. God tells us not to forsake the church! See you in the air !!!

I hope that Skip is wrong about there being no ocean. I'm sorry, but I prefer to live on an earth with an ocean over one without an ocean. Can't at least some of the sea - say the Atlantic Ocean - remain on the New Earth? I care for cities with gates made of pearls, streets of gold, etc. about as much as Skip says we'll care that there will be no ocean on the New Earth.

The coming of a new heaven and new earth does not mean destruction of all things old . The old still has a lot of goodness and a lot of beauty. There is glory in both the old and the new.

This guy is so misguided. He forgot to read and understand the first verse in Revelation chapter 1. It says; "A revelations by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent his Angel and presented it (IN SIGNS) This is what he doesn't understand. Most of Revelation is symbolic. But he goes through all these details about a new heaven and a new earth and he thinks that God is going to destroy earth and build a new one. And there will be no oceans. REALLY??? And then he says that a city will float out of heaven and God is going to live in that city. I guess in a 4 bedroom house, in case he has guests. And that millions of people will live in this city. Boy o boy.
No! No! No! The earth will never be destroyed. Neither will heaven be destroyed. It will be made new in the sense that the bad conditions that we have on earth will be over and God will lift the curse that he put on the earth. Deserts will burst forth with water. There will be no pollutions or barren places. The earth will yield its produce. No earthquakes or hurricanes. What we will experience is what God purposed when he put the first people on earth. If Adam and Eve did not sin, or if the devil did not mislead mankind, then the earth and mankind would have been what is described in Revelation. We are getting back to God's original purpose for the earth and heaven. The earth will always exist and so will the sun. And mankind will live forever right here on the earth. Psalms 37:29

I know, I live here and have visited the northern hemisphere.Our water flows anti clockwise whilst yours flows clockwise. It is beautiful to hear the passages of the Book of Revelation been read and heard, but as for his interpretation I do not agree. We are not hoping for an unnatural reality... the Holy City is very real on this planet... the fact that John sees it coming down from heaven does not mean that suddenly we will be seeing like an island coming down from the sky... it means that something that was in the realm of heaven, the invisible, will become visible when the 144,000 make it happen.

To know more about heaven , do not read and quote just one book. Make your reading wider and wiser, read more books than just reading the Bible alone.

Esau didn’t WANT God’s blessing, remember? The Messiah could have come through him, but he DESPISED his birthright, sold the blessing to Jacob for FOOD! He rejected God & then persecuted the one through whom Messiah would come! Remember Herod, the Edomite? Yeah, and Esau STILL persecutes Israel to this very day! God’s hatred is the removal of His blessing, the one Esau DIDN’T & still DOESN’T want! They’d rather worship a god who says KILL your neighbor & yourself.
