    Having an experienced builder makes all the difference in the world, so when you and Daniela are sailing the high seas you will have peace of mind in the interity of the vessel. Hard work, dedication, and something I call "sticktoittivness" will all come together in the end for a vessel you will be very, very proud of....... and rightly so.     This is one of those video's that can teach people so well about this process. Glad it's coming together I feel like now we are over the mountain top and it's just gonna go so much faster from here.     The real challenge that you guys are facing is doing fiberglass work upside down. When this vessel as made, the builders had it easy. When gravity is not in your favor, you have to be the best. Can't wait for the next video.

    Having designed, built and repaired fiberglass boats you are spot on to a fix. Frankly this is easier I think than if the boat was built in wood. When finished, it should look just like new, probably stronger.

    Top notch professional fiberglass repair ! Just make sure you clean the surfaces very well with very wet acetone or de-greaser....as gelcoat grinding leaves lots of wax behind and can compromise the new lamination work

    Your friend makes the layup process look easy ! Anyone who has ever done this knows it’s not easy at all. I’d be wearing a third , a third on the ground , and the rest looking like a mess. It takes a lot of grinding to make me look competent.

    I really enjoyed this video and seeing the fiberglass techniques was really interesting. Watching the two of you start to repair a part of the boat and then discover that more needs to be done is usually what happens to me when I work on somethigng around the house. Not only were both of you were covered with white dust then you were covered with epoxy drippings. 🙂

    This repair should be done in no time with someone who's doing such a great job looks like you are on the way to dipping this shortly after the new year. Great work and better content than most of the repair videos i have seen. This expert is doing a great job teaching you and us proper technique and showing the way to do it right the first time.     Wonderful and serious work. Compliment! I wonder if you collect all the PVC and paint residue on the ground or if you leave it to the wind and rain. I think, as a sea lover, it would be better if you could remove the residue from the contaminated soil as much as possible and burn it. What do you think?

    Have you made sure Hull is completely level front to back and side to side before you start fiberglassing and possibly change the shape of each hull? I suggest you take the time to check prior to starting fiberglass work.
