Good day Tony! We visited Cascais on last April. We loved this city. Very good restaurant and hotel. No needs for a car. One of the peak was walking beside of the clift of the ocean. Thanks for your advices.
I finally got to visit Cascais back in 2016 (first visit to Lisbon was 2010). I did exactly as you outlined on this video, taking the comboio with a return ticket. Once I arrived, it was paradise! I remember just leisurely walking along the walls of the citadel and marina, while sipping on a cold drink. What a dream!

After a visit to Boca do Inferno, we are thinking of calling for a Uber to take us to Cabo da Roca for a short visit there. But I'm not sure if we can get a Uber back to Cascais when we are ready to leave Cabo da Roca late in the afternoon. Any suggestions?

Getting an Uber back might be a problem indeed, but we have never done that trip so we cannot share our personal experience.

You will. Or avoid loading a 24h ticket if you know you are going to be using the train.
