I live with endo and this was an important piece. Thank you. :: minus the major eye-roll moment in the end :: We need more men like the first fella who asked what men can do and less men like the one who made the conversation about him. UGH!

A woman I'm in love with from work is going through it right now.
I'm trying my best to support her despite not knowing what it's like. She's taking medication and time off work. I'm just so worried about her. I'm not sure what to do.

Unless they see us physically suffering in front of their eyes, it'll always be hard for people to understand. Like have any of you ever thought that was it, you were dying, and you felt at peace with the idea? It destroys your life so much more than people think.

The guy at the end cracking a "joke" about getting hit in the groin is what's wrong with society. It's not funny, you're trivializing our pain and our experience. Men being immature and telling girls not to talk about their periods contributes to women not getting diagnosed. Because these girls have been conditioned to feel ashamed of talking about their period. This needs to change.

I thought the same thing. They are not comparable and you could tell the ladies were not amused by his comment.

@@a.jrichardsonphotography6905 For sure. In this instance it's more than a poor taste joke. It helps perpetuate this environment where women aren't taken seriously about their pain. It gets so bad that me and many other girls with endo will tell you we've gaslit ourselves about our own pain. It delays diagnosis, it's very sad.

No woman should ever have to go through or continue to go through painful periods. Periods are not supposed to be painful and people need to understand that it’s not normal and treatments needs to be in place for women to live their lives comfortably.

“Male doctors” comment annoyed me 🙄 I had 7 women doctors tell me I was crazy and one day I finally gave up and got a male doctor and he’s the only one who believed me and finally diagnosed me.

I had surgery about 13 years ago for my endometriosis. I was told by the doctor that if I had the surgery, the chance of them coming back are very slim. However, a few years after my surgery the pain not only came back but worse. I was then seen by another doctor and since a few more, everyone of them told me the worse thing I did was have the surgery. They all said they are likely to come back and when they do, they are usually a lot worse. So needless to say, I have very bad periods and have regular stomach pains daily. Some times to the point to where I can't walk. It gets real bad. I won't say it's all due to me having the surgery. Idk. I'm not a doctor but I do know it is a lot worse now than before. It feels some times like I'm having contractions. I wish they could find a way to help with these pains other than with pain meds because they don't usually work. I begged for them to just go ahead and remove it all lol because I have three kids and they are all almost adult age. So, I know I don't want more children, and have already had my tubes tied. However due to my age at the time, they wouldn't do it. They said that I may change my mind in the future about children and decide to have my tubual reversed. Lol crazy how you don't know your own life and body better than doctors. Seems like they could have just took my word for it, and with all the issues I have had in that area, seen it needed to be done. To all the ladies dealing with the pain and other issues due to this condition, God bless. Hope you find a way to help you relief some of the pain and other issues this brings.

Being in the state made me remember the woman with the issue of blood in the bible, the unnecessary bleeding doesn't ever cease to stop. When I was told about Dr Iyhere. I booked an appointment with him online, he made the herbs available to me as soon as possible. The bleeding ceased since that very day.

A male doctor has been the only one that has believed us about the pain and suggested endometriosis. The women did not believe us.

18 yrs old awakened in the night 2am excruciating pain… lmps to bathroom with nausea. Turns on streaming hot bath. Submerging myself into the water with my legs hanging over the bathtub wall so I don’t over heat… keeping a cold rag on my forehead. Minutes before popping caffeine heavy midol to try to get relief. I’d lay that way for 1.5 hrs until the medication was fully working and limp back to bed at 3am. This was a results experience for me until I had babies. Then my hormones went insane at 29. No idea why. Never got help. Now I wonder… if all those days I couldn’t even work and had to go home… were endo. I’m on hormone therapy now. Trying to recover my body after having major autoimmune type reactions last year. Histamine issues etc.

After dealing with endo symptoms for over a decade and being told my periods were "just bad" and told to take Tylenol, I was finally diagnosed after asking to check while I was under for a gallbladder removal. Even after diagnosed, I wasn't given any instructions other than to make an appointment if I can't conceive after a year of trying. I do not want to have children any time soon but I would like to know more about managing my condition and helping myself on a daily basis. I wish there was more information on the subject, lifestyle suggestions that are common and not something i have to actively search for and I wish doctors would listen and help me find out how to manage and relieve pain without just assuming it's a "bad period."

I met Dr Iyhere on youtube, while I was working on a design program, I am a software programmer from indonesia, He gave me a reason and I knew my pelvis pain wasn't that bad and I could wait for the drugs to arrive in my country through shipment. After they arrived at the port I got them and started using them appropriately.

My younger daughter was experiencing this pain at her lower abdomen few weeks back and we have taken her to different hospitals only to discover that it was pelvic pain, the doctors said they had to operate on it, I couldn't allow them tear her open so I prayed to God to show me the way for the right solution when I came across Dr Iyhere page on youtube. I knew my prayers had been answered.
