    First, let me take a moment to say, THANK YOU FOR THE ABSENCE OF MUSIC! I get so inundated with music no matter what type of tutorial I watch, that I exponentially appreciate just the simplicity and pristine silence of only ambient sounds. Next, wow. Just wow. The creativity. The expertise. The tolerances you hold; impossible! The beauty. The vision. I always start out wondering what you’re doing then my jaw drops as it comes together. Magical.

      Not really but I did a large segmented donut that had random types of wood glued all over the place. But I do have boxes full of scraps I have been thinking of something similar. But your pieces in a bowl of glue was brilliant!

      Здравствуйте. Не могу сказать, что подписан на ваш канал или смотрю его постоянно, но, когда попадают такие ролики регулярно смотрю.
      Меня всегда, удивляет только одно - почти все мастера, при склейке, начинают точить круглые изделия из квадрата. Имея в наличии столько инструмента, станков и приспособлений, с помощью которых легко можно сделать из квадрата восьмигранник и не переводить материал в стружку, а из обрезков склеить ещё одну заготовку, для очередного шедевра, вы, предпочитаете вот эту бессмысленную, ни кому не нужную долбёжку по рукам! Это, что, такой фетиш?

    • @JackMackWoodturning
      @JackMackWoodturning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, if you brush each piece as you go on something like this it’ll start to bond on the first piece by the time you get to the last piece, then when you clamp it you’ll break the initial bonds on the first pieces and as you know that’s bad news. Salad dressing technique here. Works a treat. Easy to pour the excess back into the bottle once your done.

    Ff-ing AWESOME!!! A goblet worthy of the gods. Magnificent! Personally I found the way you made short work of the glueing proces genious and hilarious! That washing bowl! 😄😄 Wonderful!

    Excellent video work, nice shots and clean edits good composition. Good work on the video. The way you glued it up was the best ! I don't think i have ever laughed at a woodturning video, and please , this is a complement! I loved it, i don't know why more people don't use that glue method. Just give them a glue bath! Brilliant ! The different species of wood really work well together, all the different colors and grain, just lovely! All around great job Jack ! Looking forward to the next video.

      Haha nice one J. A glue bath seemed like the easiest way. Glue ups are a mission! Thanks for watching man 😊🙏👍🏻

    It's interesting that the different types of wood make a different sound when you're cutting them on the lathe.
