    This looks like the perfect relaxed warm up. Her horse is paying attention and she’s warming him up slowly. She collects him more and more as they work and he comes over his back more. Very nice. ❤️

    Her riding is very sympathetic to the horse, it's lovely to watch. She doesn't demand anything, she goes with the horses flow and molds the movement. Pretty close to perfect. I'm impressed!!! 🤠

    Beautiful real warm up! The thing that really impressed me was the loose curb rein for most of the warm up, until her collected half passes and counter canters toward the end. It was awesome!

    Wow, no tail wringing and relaxed floppy ears. So nice to watch.

      @@ohjeh7388 You fixed nothing. I see a listless horse not enjoying himself. Just going through the motions.

      @TheOldandslow 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@jonjonwp his ears are moving, he is looking at the people walking around. Should he be bolting? Watch when he is in the show ring, then sharpness shows up very well.

      I’m curious, what behavior is the horse presenting that is giving you that impression?

      @@laurenrousell8117 He appears lifeless, disinterested and just going through the motions. No joy. I wish i could have seen him in the test. Dorothee is a great rider. I’m not criticising her.

    Now I'm no expert, and someone speak up if they disagree, and this is only video i have seen of this horse, but I don't like this.. something doesn't seem right, like he doesn't look developed enough to be in grand prix, lacks step under in hocks, like pretty stiff in hocks really...broken in the neck at times, looks almost like he is being held into collection like he's not strong enough for it. He's moving his best the first 10-15 seconds of video in his working trot. Also his canter works seems better than his collected trot.

      In the Warm-Up, you want your horse to be relaxed & free-flowing in order to Safely get their muscles, tendons & ligaments ready for the More Advanced & More Intense work. This video shows a Nice warm-up. Carl Hester & Charlotte Dujardin also do lovely warm-ups.

      This horse is just 6 years old, this warm-up took place at the WBCYH 2017. He was nowhere near Grand Prix back then ;) It's all in the description of the video

      @@olddustyroad6572 I am all about relaxed and free flowing warm ups, and in the first 10-15 seconds she had him in a working trot that looked this way, however seems she brought him into collection and he was loosing his step under with his hocks and breaking in the neck which shows me lack of relaxation.

      @@annawojtkowska3132 That’s not true, the six year old are ridden with a single snaffle. Dorothee didn’t ride him at the WBCYH.
      It seems to be Balve 2020. Where he would be 9 years old. Still not on GP level, but definitely getting close.
