Beautiful dressage from CD as always. Imhotep looks absolutely stunning . He won silver in the G.P. with a massive 82.422 % . Carl and Fame looking impressive too😍
This happens because these horses are not taught physically but because they learn dressage in their heads. Instead of developing the right muscles to be able to carry a rider's weight without damage, they are forced to perform movements that are unphysiological but spectacular for us humans.
@@madammim8198 Go back and watch Dressage from the riders of yesterday. They are in archives on TH-cam. Riders and horses from the 1950's and 60's. There are even some from pre WW2. Major difference from today. I rode Dressage back in the 1970's 80's and 90's. It was even different then. Much better riders, trainers and horses. Today it is all about the Benjamins. Everything is politics. Riders have NO "seat". Horses are rushed along in their training. "Forced" into a "frame". You are right. Dressage is trained into the mind and not the physical body. Both the horse and rider. Cruel training methods. Today horses are just "tools" to an end. Then hurry up and bring the next one along. Most so called "Dressage Riders" today haven't a clue as to what Dressage is in the equestrian world. And It's not ballet with a horse. Probably the best example of the worst rider that is still riding and "training" today is The so called "Queen of Dressage" Isabell Werth. A horrific rider and "trainer".

If you want to learn how to ride horses not according to their biomechanics, then you are well served here.
Imhotep and Dalera piaffe are panful to watch. Front legs should be like pillars to support movement not deep under the body damaging bone structures.
