- We announce some pretty big news - we adopted a dog! Meet the newest member of our family, and see what it’s now like to camp in our Lance 825 Truck Camper. We take our new furry friend up to the Rocky Mountains for a test run camping trip. We’ll go over what dog-friendly modifications we did to our truck and truck camper, what items we needed for camping with a dog ( @Wilderdog ) , and determine if we instantly outgrew our truck camper 😳

Love the raised dog bed idea in the truck, which I've considered with my F250. Did you figure out how to send the air vents in the back to the top?
Thanks!! ☺️ We have a 2017 crew cab, so there are no air vents in the back. But when Dave thought it did he was considering using flexible duct hose to point the air where we needed it to go.

Congrats on your new truck camper! 🥳 do you know what your first camping adventure will be? Hatch did not have any siblings that we know of, if he did we’d probably adopt them all 😅
Looks like y'all have a thicker mattress than what it comes with. How thick is it? And how much head room do you have?
Good eye! We bought a foam topper from Target to put on the mattress, which gives it another 2-3”. As far as head room, we don’t have much but enough to partially sit up in bed. If we’re being honest, at the beginning of every camping season we do knock our heads on the ceiling quite a few times 😂
i am thinking get lance 825 your f250 handle good do you have any upgrage?
How exciting! We have had no issues with our handling, and have only upgraded the shocks with Fox Shocks for a smoother ride on dirt roads.
