Thanks, I'm beginning to think it might be a cable. When I press down on the connector on the board side, the other side gives me video. Thanks for your input.
My Samsung turns on for 1-2minutes then off and immediately back on. It will do this for 10 - 15 minutes all while showing the display. After the 10- 15 it will be perfectly fine. Would you believe this is my main board since I do have a picture and sound?
It could be a main board issue, but given the problems that I have seen with these Samsung sets, I would say there is still a problem with the panel. In some cases, it could be the panel is toast and you can't do anything about it.
Hello, i have the same model t.v as you have on the video. I did every thing as you told to do on the other video. Now the screen is lit up and stays on. But just dark blue. Any suggestions ??
I have encountered this once. I believe the screen is shot at that point or there are more than just one defective line. If not, it could be the IC that sends power to the panel on the main board that is defective, but I haven't seen this problem too much. Thanks for watching!
I have a tv like this one, I patched one of the flex cables and now I have video on the left side of screen. Any suggestions for the other half?
That means there is most likely a short that still exists. Depending on the extent of the damage, it could be possible that the screen is toast.

It sounds like that your panel is finished. I don't think anything else can be done here.
