Metal board with unknown resistance is a challenging for active shooter... but make sure the tension locker as a selection grip.. many still just using metal board but no kenetic force tensioner that resist the metal board not to knockdown easy just by 1 or 3 shoots. But some time takes 7-8 shoots.. .

I'm actually very new only 300-400 rds in and i've been watching your channel since i got my Firearm and it really got me interested. Looking for ways to slowly ease in to the sport.
@@Rk-ku5jn cool! Armscor is a great range. They have a couple of gun clubs and club shoots. Best if you ask them about it.
But yeah! I’d recommend joining a club and maybe training with them to get better. Then join your first match! 😊

Good shooting and good guns. My brother had 4 of his open guns and 1 limited gun. I should have bought his limited gun with tungsten sleeved barrel whe he was selling it but I had too many limited guns.

just got my first gun, any tips for a beginner looking into getting into practical shooting?
Hello! I’d suggest practicing basic accuracy first. Once you practice being accurate, speed will follow.
Join a local gun club in your area! They’ll walk you through how to kind of get into it :)

Quick question for Thomas and other Commenters: What distance do you sight/zero your competition pistol for, and why? CZ Shadow 2 came from the factory zeroed at 25m, but is that optimal for most matches? Thanks!
Hi! I zero my gun on 25m but I still try shooting it 40m and see what the shots are on 40 just in case I’d need to shoot something far. Same goes at around 13-15 meters. Best seeing how affected or unaffected groupings are at that distance.

Try to use sps magazine and replace the spring and follower with grams..and your load will be 19rds

PF read is a little low for this load at 173PF
@@thomas.shoots ive always preferred 200gr because of the softer impulse and I can manage the recoil alot better. You just need to do recoil tuning if you go down this road

[8:24] dont ever expect metal board KO, just continue shooting ajd prepare for comeback fire.. . A micro second glitch is still counted.. always get or wear your shooting confidence and dont laugh your self but focus.. . Laughing s3lf mistakes is a disguisting behaviour of a international active shooter. You cant improve yourself by laughing your mistakes.. you have to conquer all your weakness and dont just accept it..

@@thomas.shoots hmmm you dont know forieners instincts. Try to avoid laughing while on the firing stage. And do it on safe zone when you are out on... make sure next time youll have your focus and not get distructed by your mistakes. .. hmmm in my observation try to improve you footwork.. you need to pump your legs when you wana run to the next spot... better than sqing your shoulder or upper body first than pumping your quads first.. .
